Dance music Manual - Rick Snoman

http://www.amazon.com/Dance-Music-Manua ... 240521072/

Good book for beginners, covers everything :) When i mean everything i mean everything, its even still good to go back now and read over a few things.

Music theory for computer musicians - Michael Hewitt

http://www.amazon.com/Music-Theory-Computer-Musicians-Book/dp/1598635034/

Name says it all, really easy to read. Much better than other theory books that have NO idea of EDM.

Composition for computer musicians - Michael Hewitt

http://www.amazon.com/Composition-Computer-Musicians-Artistpro-Michael/dp/1598638610/

Lots of really good info in here, more on the creative process than the technical, or theory :)

waves, the trance experience - Torrence Fassbender

http://www.amazon.com/Trance-Experience-Introduction-Electronic-Dance/dp/0974843849

Got it waiting at home, will let you know!

So, what are yours?

I did post this in another thread which was possibly the wrong one. :wall:

I've just started this one... seems to be legit.... so far.

Mixing secrets for the small studio

http://amzn.to/xv1TfA

its a pretty good price for the amount of info its go in it. As the title suggests really. its about getting your mix downs (pre masters) sounding as good as possible.

yeah that particular book isnt that much cheaper, but most books usually end up with some good savings.

basically its just sources from different websites including delivery.

90% of the time book depository is the cheapest. 1% of the time amazon is cheapest (usually books published only for america and small distribution house). and 0% of the time an australian retail shop is cheaper.

ive been using for about 2 or 3 years now. ive seen the savings slowly get smaller as i think amazon and borders caught on that book depository was stealing all their business. in that time maybe once ive had to buy from amazon (common's biography just a couple months back)
