Hey guys, just so I understand, with time code, you need turntables, a mixer and a Audio Interface.

Sol if your going to go down the timecode path than why not buy a whole package where you will get the Computer softwate, Timecode CDs/Vinyl and Audio Interface???

Yes you can use another Audio Interface with Traktor, but why???

Ok I admit, im going off track again, but the reason I was going to go with the controller was the portability, not to mention the whole "Mesmerising vinal thing". Also now I put in perspective im not going to be able to get gigs interstate much so that is out of the question.

not to mention two DD turntables, a mixer (with or without an extra IO) , an x1 is cheaper (and I can do more with) than a ddj t1

no that mixer will not work with time code

no ASIO input/ output drivers...

that mixer will work with traktor but not traktor scratch or any time code set-up by the usb port on the mixer

also, you keep saying club gigs is your goal, most clubs use cdjs, jus sayin

no doubt you can do more with a timecode set up but did you add the cost of the software to that mate?

and i also highly recommend buying traktor as a package with NI soundcard if you are going that route.

Yeh, not sure I want to get into the whole club scene though, id rather do private party's where I can get more involved in the croud, not to mention less pressure and more time to have fun.

just to clarify, traktor will work with any audio interface.

traktor scratch will only work with audio 4/6/8/10 and any certified mixers (xone 3d/4d, djm900, dnx1600 etc)
