  1. Hmm, this gives me mixed feelings. I don't believe number 1 at all, and most of the others is mostly nostalgia. It seems to be written by someone with a "You should only play vinyl, everything else sucks" view. (My first impressions, I have never heard of the author before) Don't get me wrong though, some of that nostalgia is still great! Having a huge record collection of banga's would be a fantastic achievement and wonderful to have. I also agree that they do look sexy, but so do 2000's and various controllers.
  2. Something like the VCI 400 is tailored for club use in my opinion, Im also a big fan of the Ean golden edition!
  3. I disagree, I think the 15's would sound better, but 12's definitely pump, here's an idea, get the 12's and have a look at the powered 18' dedicated sub in the buy sell section, that set up would pump hard! He could also conciser this package viewtopic.php?f=22&t=9584
  4. Not from what I have heard, there seems to be ALOT of issues with the 19 My cousin also has one, he's careful with all his stuff and 2 died within 8 months
  5. I mash buttons, so a mechanical keyboard is useless for me.
  6. I kind of see denon going down the turntable imitation path rather than just cdj's like pioneers path.
  7. Amazing deal, someone snap it up! http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/mornings ... 1000523482
  8. If you have the extra cash and room, id say get it, gives you the capability to do larger venues.
  9. I hate his attitude in general
  10. The actual ones are way too expensive for the sound your getting, That and monster are assholes
  11. If you have any subjection man just say em! I was thinking about going 1 up to the g19 (Like I said before) But I don't think the extra features are worth the extra $65 (Full colour LCD, apps, fewer G keys, USB hub) Ugh, but on the rebate it would be $75 GAH, but the g510 would be $42.50
  12. Hey guys, so im hopefully going to get this keyboard soon, as when im at home, I essentially use my laptop as a tower. (Monitor plugged in, external mouse and keyboard) What do you think of this keyboard though The Logitech g510 The main reason im after this keyboard, is the mapable g keys on the side, the screen (Displaying cpu and ram usage) and the desktop style keys (as opposed to laptop style chiplet keys) Im kinda deciding against the 1 up (The g19) as although it does have a usb hub (Which is fantastic) It does require it's own power source. I will mainly be using it for programming, surfing and some gaming. I can get the g510 from our local IT store (MSY computers) for $85 So what do you think? (This is posted in off topic because I will not be using it for dj'ing in any way or form)
  13. NOT A FAN OF THE MC Especially in the build to the first drop
  14. Enter Rapid Evolution (From Dj tech tools) Seems like an alright program, Im downloading it now to check it out! Edit: Doesn't seem very user friendly, trying to figure it out now!
  15. I thought this was interesting, and he makes a great point!
  16. the current 2000 has it
  17. One other thing that gets me about the whole sync debate is that just because they have sync, doesn't make them any good. There's still alot of other skills you have to learn, like phrasing, "Eq swapping", and just general things like smoothing out your transitions, and being creative in general.
  18. I would have told them to go screw themselves, there's nothing wrong with using an s4 even if you aren't using it for timecode. Everyone has there own way they like to do things, just because you're not doing it the way they like to do it, doesn't give them any superiority to you. Porter Robinson uses a s4 and midifighter for his shows, and gets no hate for it.
  19. Yeh, 500w RMS
  20. Id probably make one, use feather-board for the frame, then use plasti-card to coat it

  22. I would have hoped they upgraded them to blu-ray drives instead, there still a "Fairly" new format
  23. So what do you think? Im personally not a fan, I use my DVD drive alot, sure you can bring an external, but it's nice to be able to just have one inbuilt. I wonder if they will be merging the macbook air and macbook pro lines by doing this.
  24. That's odd, I have my 15's on the floor at every gig I do and there fine :S
