Well, you just said it: I highly disagree with it but yeh If you are looking at something a little sturdier, perhaps look at the Dennon MC6000 as it can be used as a stand alone mixer as well. One thing I don't understand is if you where planning to go with a mixer and use 4 decks, how are you going to control them? Clicking play isn't a very good option, also im not even sure why you need 4 decks to begin with. Sure it's (Nice) but if your just mixing there's no point. To sum it all up, if you want to use a mixer, id wait for the djm 850, as the 900 is quite a blow to the pocket. If you want a controller for the mixer, grab the mc6000, as it can be used without a computer. However personally id just grab an x1 and use that with your 400, as it is a good setup already.

My camera is being an absolute bitch, everything is filmed and ready for editing, but the software it comes with isn't letting me pull the data off the camera :/ Even bypassing the software, or on different computers :/

I did an 18th with some little kids (12 - 13) around and to be honest, stuff it, after about 10pm play what ever you want, there parents should realize it's an 18th, and not really a suitable environment for 12 - 13 yo's anyway. (e.g. drinking (Some of it underage) girls being slutty, blablabla) Unless the host tells you to, don't worry about it IMO, especially at a 18th' or 21'st.

I wouldn't recommend Acer, me and my dad had laptops of there's and they have been nothing but trouble. the logic boards keep failing, and every time they get sent in, they just fix that part of the logic board rather than replacing it, then it gets sent back to them 3 weeks later when it dies again. Friends have reported this with there Acer's too :/
