  5. What tutorial did you watch Capsss? I been looking at ableton recently, looked at a few things, but they are either... 1. Really bad quality video (cant see whats happening) 2. 25mins of basic boring loading blah blah 3. I feel everyone skips a bit and moves onto more advanced things you 'should know about' [edit]: i just found an ableton 101 Tutorial on another thead of yours. nevermind seems like a good start thanks

    TOTD?

true right mate. You come down to tassie to pubs like The Brisbane Hotel and you will know whats up and down. Its hard though really. there is a serious stigma attached to tassie. to the point where bands pull out of gigs (Carpatian for eg). Shame... Last band i saw, Captian Ahab. big thumbs!! We like to go off.. better, faster, harder no double mate!

    TOTD?

^uh, i saw IKTPQ at the start of last year feat. Carpathian. Honestly one of the worst live gigs i have ever seen. At the Masonic Temple. there was a serious lack of passion & Carpathian refused to play becuase it was in tassie. -1 rep -1 rep for the bands, not you SweetIshDub just to confirm

    TOTD?

Streets, thank god its happening. I love Lamb of God and all electro mix. This is the first real taste i have had that this kinda stuff is even around. cheers very much!! [edit] i was thinking a not long ago of trying "The Faded Line" by LOG. I think you just found me the inspiration for it. noice.
  9. $80 i paid. true if it were just for snare. sometimes my 2 cents is really just a penny's worth
  10. ^ agree with pundaddy on that. All that shit really is not important right now. honestly its more shit to mess around with and take your mind off the most important thing. The music!
  11. I just use my Korg Nanopad atm. The little button highlighted in the picture is 'ROLL' The X-Y pad allows you to build up and down, pitch and volume. Its a great way to drum roll a sample or fragment. just a thought?
  12. freaking cool! oh, this is cool (_)(_)==D
  13. Sorry i just cant stop. its like listening to Britany Spears talking about being original and creative. Solid advice!
  14. ^^ fuck... I didnt know there were so many rules and do and do not when it came to being yourself and building up your dj'ing career. I took that all into account. more so i prefer to listen to people that dont know acid is a drug. Its a shame he told me...
  15. ^ that bear looks like it has the eye make-up from a deep throat blow job
  16. ha. yeah. i mean its hard i guess. its personal in a way having a handle that you want to use for the future. do you want it to mean alot or nothing. Quirky or serious.. I guess your the only one that knows. im sure it will be the same feeling as when you finally get your house key in the front door in the dark after a big one. good luck.
  17. how about DJ 'i cant stop looking at your damn avatar for more than 5 seconds even though i have seen it 200 times AHH!' think about it
  18. alot will say no, ill say yes. because you can. maybe some updated drivers etc. but. yep. ..some things might run a touch slow. dont use it at the local club
  19. Blah, a name is just a name. Just use anything i recon. Its what your going to put out under the name that counts the most eg.. Korn, deadmau5, AC/DC, Clutch and it goes on. Dumb name + good music = who cares
  20. I dont know very much about Itch, nor have i used it. but from that youtube clip, just the layout and general look of it reminds me of Traktors retarded ugly sister. The one you get your mate to take on the date so you get the hot one...
  21. *bump* so i got the Korg Nanopad in the mail, about 5 days ago (i guess). It was a good buy for $80. its great for triggering samples when your hands are all over the show. one of the first things before buying it was that it is fragile and breaks easy. I can imagine that for the fact it weighs a bee's dick and in plastic casing no doubt. But you can change the sensitivity of the buttons which i believe will give it a mush better shelf life. Secondly, the X-Y pad is a little hard to get around, its settings seem a little odd but it works the way it should, with tweaking. Thirdly, not importantly to the controller itself. In the box comes with EzDrummer Midi software. The booklet tells you it as simple as going to toontracks.com and d/l it. not so, its a bitch and confusing. but like i said, not really related. really though, 6/10. Already searching for more toys
  22. seems like a necessary hair cut for the spider on ya head
  23. i kinda missed this place for 30secs there
  24. So, is it? I dont know how many of you have seen things like this. It is the first time i have seen anything like it. Seems pretty cool. Just threading it to see if people can give some feedback on what he is using (and i dont mean Traktor) but the screen specs and... if people really think this is how it will all turn end up.
