this is for a good mate of mine that is looking at buying a stand alone sampler or drum machine. As long as its stand alone, able to do drums patterns, create rhythms, loop etc essential it has a mic input. nothing over $600 pref. they are looking into the Roland SP-404SX at the moment. is this pretty much the way to go or is there better out there for the same price range. Second hand is not out of the question if obviously its in excellent condition. ta.

there is a mobile APP in TAS that security/venues use to identify people that are kicked out of a place for whatever reason. Aimed at not letting them into the next place. its been in full swing for about a year now. ..sure in hell dont stop the wankers causing problems in the problem areas. they just troll the streets taking out their anger on others that they are barred from all places for the night. politicians have an out of date view on solving this issue

Today synth maker Novation announced three new goodies that celebrate the company’s heritage: a short film, a free sample pack, and a synth giveaway contest. i do have a suggestion relating to the banner/img. after using ADJF for a good chunk of the day. it seems a little full on then just cuts off. what about fading the .png image slightly at the bottom so it looks like it goes from pic into the forums BG of white? and i mean, SLIGHTLY. ?

u could install something like Taskbar Hide. when ur boss comes in. Alt+tab and things like chat and forum (other things you select like rtube) will disappear from screen and task bar

tbh i have always favoured small things like paid status changes like 'mega user' to 'custom' and even little badges like a 'donated' star or something. i its small injections into the site with the satisfaction of a more custom based identity.
