I found my DDJ S1 for $950 on ebay a month ago and have been having a ball ever since... Also the layout of it is exactly the same as they use in most of the clubs just a little smaller, which gives you the relief of knowing that if you get really good at it your halfway there... since its a midi controller, everything is in one neat package.. all you need is a laptop, or any computer for that matter, bought a few little extras that converted the plug in the back of the ddj to go to my computer speakers for a about 20 bucks and i was ready to go... great kit to let you hit the ground running

listening to yours now chris... very smooth so far.. wish i waited a while before i did a comp... this is my first ever live mix and was thinking fuck yeah this sounds awesome... now after listening to everyone elses... im kinda imbarassed lol

so some one could put a remix up... then you just sit there and play the waiting game... you dont have to get in contact with and artist your slef and ask for permission?

ok say you made a bootleg/remix/ whatever you want to call it. of a song you thought it was really really good... what determines weather its an "official" remix i.e you can make money off it and you send a percentage of sales to an artist... not saying i've done it... just pure curiosity

eggs... try a different web browser... might be all the cookies and temp files fucking around with it... i use chrome and it cloud kept fucking up for me, so now i have to upload using firefox or IE, which im guessing works cause they are completely clean
