Their ok for general use. There are other which are designed specifically for music to kill certain frequencies. those foam ones would not cut it.

izotope's idrum. comes with preset kits and of course you can save your own. easy to use which makes it pretty quick to throw some patterns together. this is the only drum vst i've used.
