Fuck Mitch was spot on actually, for anyone else looking at getting into clubs master the warm up set because that's what you'll be doing for a few years!
For anyone at Above & Beyond this was very similar to Norin & Rad's set from the night, so good. https://soundcloud.com/edmtunestv/norin-rad-live-trance-around-the-world-450-group-therapy-india-10-11-2012
Absolutely lapping up the harder electro trance hybrids, proper pumping. https://soundcloud.com/mikkasmusic/emma-hewitt-rewind-mikkas Will be pumping out a mix of this stuff in the next week or so. #wooo
You would think somewhere with the optical transmission and conversion of the file quality or integrity would be lost somewhere. Where as USB is straight transmitting the media. Who knows just a random thought!
Just a thought Cupe is all the help/info boards publicly accessible? I'm sure it is but would be a decent way of ensuring people can see all that stuff without all the offtopic stuff if they havnt signed up.
Usbs also make it more feasible to have higher quality files. Interesting thought i had the other day, does or can anyone notice any difference in identical files with one burnt and the other on usb? I think they sound better on the usbs.
Wav is higher quality from memory? I just dont see the point in going half way, either stay on 320 mp3 or go to wav, what is the go with WAV and metadata these days still doesnt do much at all?
I seem to be the only one that doesn't do this lol It's pretty handy man, ive never liked bassy kicks, always prefer a nice clean mid type kick. But obviously that wont always have enough of a pump to it so you add the lower kick.
Sadly bar a few, aussie clubs have crap systems anyway. Just adds more time in syncing/moving files and obviously more storage space. I would be inclined to go mp3 or wav and not even bother about flac, aiff etc
