  1. im getting a condenser mic soon. So ill make proper ones then.
  2. yeah traktor does sync broheme. thats why pete tong uses it Im not sure about how many tracks serato can run
  3. Hi, I'm planning on making a weekly podcast, starting soon. I don't have a name for it yet, or any images, animations or a download site. But that will come soon enough I'm posting this thread: - as a place for everyone to drop their songs (320kb/s) so I can play them, with a bio, - a place to apply to do a guestmix - ideas for name - discussion for anything else such as graphics and legal issues I will be playing Four4 music, progressing from electro to trance, but if someone were to request a guest mix in dubstep or drum and bass that would be considered (breaks is too far off my theme). I wanna play as much unsigned music as I can. thanks!!
  4. just post pics up dude
  5. Yes, you get 2 Timecode Vinyl, a sound card, cables and the software. Serato is better than traktor and is the industry standard atm. Serato also doesn't beatmatch and there a 3 modes depending on how much you want to use the pc, or how little you want to use the turntables.
  6. yo yo
  7. Yep, plugging your mixer into your MIC input on your pc and recording with audacity is fine. There is a video thread around for that as well, because your recording quality isnt always optimal on audacity, you have a change around a few options in it. For altering voices, yes I would recommend Live
  8. ohok, that was confusing for a bit bcus brunswick st is a really popular nightspot in melbourne as well
  9. so where exactly is this?
  10. Jesus, id rather pay someone to act as a bot, than have this thing floating around lol
  11. yeah soundcloud did that to me with Nikko's mix
  12. comments on your cloud man, sry i couldnt give ne more. im so rooted... i hate being sick. Nice man.
  13. hey man. I got halfway thru and tried to comment more, but soundcloud kept fucking up and im sick as a dog atm. It was a good mix though
  14. Yep, if you can hear voices, its too high. I'm pretty confident that that will do the trick
  15. fuck i hate that feeling where you know you should another instrument in, but you just dont know what and that you really cbf
  16. definetily earplugs man. its pretty unhealthy to be listening to loud music for so long. I have mine at my feet and its fine. You should try lowering the freq cutoff. it might be an issue of the wrong sound going through your sub. Set the freq cutoff to about 200hz, see if thats better. Otherwise place some thick blankets around your walls and other hard objects to minimise unwanted reverb.
  17. haha yeah i did this track pretty quickly so it could probably sound a whole lot better. Music is deadmau5, vocals are dj casper thanks for listening
  18. hey man, thanks a lot for the feedback! I used the piano melody for the syths, which I created myself, that melody was also used for the bassline. I used the shaker sample and changed it around a little. I cant remember how exactly I did that 'wooey' noise, but it's basically just an LFO going off hits head lol
  19. I actually use Analog a bit... only has the two oscillators though
  20. you go to the track then click the button, it will drop down and give you a box with a code in it. But, put all your sets, into a SoundCloud set first, it will group them all together for you, then you can grab the share code
  21. didnt see that. we used to have a mix showcase board. Just a place where everyone can post their sets in a single post, using the set feature on SoundCloud
  22. Here's mine: DJ Sets by Chris Gould
  23. Thought we need a thread for everyone to showcase their sets. Sort of a good spot to go if you want to listen to a DJ set and cbf looking around for one.
  24. ^lol, if you're human
  25. ^wtf? lol OP, if you want to promote a radio show, post it on the radio board
