had no idea where to put this but hows this for a goocher. i was listening to me ipod and it was playing cairo - 7 Deadly Sins. but i needed to access a file i had saved on the ipod (you know back in the day how you could use it as a hard drive) so had to unplug it from my ghettoblaster. anyways so i plug my iphone in instead, and hit shuffle, and it goes to cairo - 7 Deadly Sins so it deserves a TOTD i rection

regurgitator - devil spell from their new album last year. just a short little ditty (all the ones on there were). intital sound is like the bass from that beer ad with the tongue. but then the main melody kicks in of someone singing badda bums, which are the only vocals other than some haunting ohhhhhhhhs. very funky yet basic drum track until the killer drum end nice chill track, something you'd expect as an in-between song on a beastie boys album post paul's boutique.

i think the timeline is based more on whats pop at the time as opposed to being about age. when i was in year 11 and 12 "techno" clubs were busting out everywhere. so everyone from kindy garten kids were down with dance music. (and for my gen kindy to 3rd grade was when people were into hip hop, then the masses moved on) and yeah not everyone continued on with EDM, in fact people i knew that use to hit oxford street hard in those times were over it after about two or three years, and dont really listen to any EDM these days.

nah man the scene now is just as buzzed. i dont want to be one of those oldies like in human traffic crapping on about how good it used to be! just saying clubs that are nice and open and welcome, and all about the music and the dancing and vibing gets a thumbs up from me

ummm sounds on sunday died years ago. i think some of the mob that promoted it moved onto fuzzy or whoever do field day. i thinks.. they occassionally get together to do a sounds garden party at chinese laundry, but yeah SOS @ greenwood is dead. it use to be the best. i remember going up to manly, have a bit of a swim, grab a kebab, then go to greenwood to sink beers in the sun & get my groove on; with some nice toonz and some nice lookers. all while still in my boardies.

i think my beef with shoes and door beehatches is a lot of them dont even look or dont even care (know). i went to a club once where it was superstrict. and the dude stopped me and said what shoes you got on, and i said hey man they leather just brown not black (thinking he thought they werent flash shoes). and without even looking he said nah man what brand. i said ummm diesel, and he was like cool you're in. what the!!!! then a mate later gets rejected for having leather campers which cost double the diesels because the thugg probably had never heard of campers! and then on the flipside i see people getting turned away for runners or sports shoes at ivy on a busy friday night, and then i get in with a ratty pair of black chucks. why, because i have mainly grrls in my group. so anywhere where shoes matter can fark off in my opinion. thats why sounds on sunday @ greenwood and fat@ gas were the ish. all comers welcome, wearing as flash or as little or as bogan as you like.

haha cave. i use to hit cave here and there. nice venue, two rooms lounge room with small dancefloor and even a small stage for those that like the podium dancing. and the main room, which had a risen area at the back and along sides for more podium dancing. only thing i hated was promoters wanted no jeans and would bust balls about shoes. and my motto is no chucks then not worth going into. even though i dont always wear chucks, out of principle i boycott anywhere that doesn't allow it. but they had the legendary dj moto, so that drew the crowds.

crunds is our security, and dflux can be the model used for the interview photos since im not as photogenic.

well there are tricks of course, spotting someone who knows someone, having a higher ratio of boobs in the crew and preferably on-show. they also have a guest list, lets take a roll call and put our names on? if you going promo, dont you need someone to hold all your camera equip and handle the interviews! my grammar be good

oh yeah i meant it becomes a bit pricey to buy the rekkid and then send over. so about $20 aussie bucks for the first single, whihc is still heaps more than what i would like to pay. but then i guess each one after about $13 aussie bucks which aint bad.
