if im honest man, connecting turntables to a laptop can be a massive hassle, somtimes burning 10 CD's with 20 songs each on them is just way easier...spesh when your just starting out if its gonna be that much of a hassle you can look at CDJ400's or CDJ350's which will both connect to your computer and use your hard drive, both also take USB if you wanna go in that direction but be prepared to fork out a fair bit more for 400's or 350's then 200's... (DJing is a very expensive hobby,you have been warned )

dude if your willing to spending up to 1k you can get DJM800's for 1k now...just saying

yeh exactly, CDJ will be the cheapest option in the end...i meen $1000 for some CDJ200's and mixer opposed to $1000 for S4 + $1400 minimum for macbook + $700 for software

Djim if you think buying a mixer new, then making up a problem with it, getting it sent away for ages to fix an imaginary problem, then getting the same mixer back in the same condition it was already in...is worth it...then why even buy the mixer in the 1st place?

i dunno why though, ive owned plenty of behringer stuff and its all been more then great for the price ive payed...i mean you cant compare them to pioneer because they are just simply no wear near the same price...the same as you cant compare them to JBL in speakers for the same reason...
