good choice, we like to see people choosing Vinyl or CD's over midi's but hey if you gotta start on midi's then so be it

if you were to ring them im sure they would do it for $350...however if you didnt mention it im sure they'd still sell it for $850 or watever

Ive heard good things about Reloops There is also the Traktor Controll S4, the new Hercules is coming out or may already be out if u havent considered them they with both be Top of the line Midi's

It depends... Do you want CD Turntables? Vinyl Turntables? or do you want to run Controllers with software such as Virtual DJ, Serato, Traktor etc....?

Sounds good other then the Deck needing a service, id be weary on that.... and you need to test all the gear if you can, a mixer can look great on the outside and be fucked on the inside and check the condish of the rest as well if u can

If you've got the cash for 2 sets then go for it, get some bash around speakers for the teens like u said, I'm actually running a pair of cheap 15" 3 way speakers from jaycar, still going strong, by them selfs they are a bit plain but if u add a sub or 2 it's pretty decent I will link u to a thread of all my gear when I get home, if u wanna see what I'm talking about

I found when switching from my RMX yo my CDJ's that the gain had to be way up on the RMX where as my 400's only have to be about half way to pump, just check your gain 1st, then eq's, then volume faders

What kind of Party's will you be doing? Eg teenage party's or weddings etc? whats your budget? without knowing any of those answers ill give you some quick advise until you can reply with Mobile DJing, its good to have a good set up, but i strongly recommend going a cheaper option on speakers if your doing Teenage party's, i meen it only takes 1 drink spilled and you've lost $1000-$2000 worth of speakers im not saying take Home stereo system, just think low-mid range for party's eg , Behringer make some great quality speakers at a reasonable price, they will pump plenty at a party http://www.storedj.com.au/products/BEH-B215D

I think all the normal production programs work on mac and PC.... eg Ableton, Pro Tools, Logic, etc

I have the RMX and im pretty sure you plug your CD players into the master input on the RMX, then run leads from master out to the master in on whatever mixer your using ok i just re-read your post and your saying you want to actually use it as the mixer?
