what browser would you browse to browse with when you browse
Jaz replied to CapFive's topic in Computer Corner
i did use firefox, but now i use chrome, but its fucking horrible, but firefox had its problems to chrome constantly tells me it cant find pages for no god dam reason, then i reload and it magically finds them they are both shit in my opinion -
cheers dim, but i doubt pioneer would want to build 1 as it would make there marketing pointless, if people can just buy a hot cue pad everyone would just get 900's instead of the much more expensive 2000 haha o well, maybe in the future
-
just press play and turn the jog wheel left, if it sounds worse and more out of sync, turn it right until it syncs up, then raise your pitch bend done
-
actually im pretty sure they use a method similar to that app on the iphone that listens and recognises music, is it called shazam or some shit? because 80% of the time my vids would get copywrited n blocked after like an hour of uploading lol
-
Fuck 1600 for just the 2 players?? You got such a good sale haha, hope I can sell mine for that lul but yeh I'm hell keen on 850's once I sell my 400's but as I said I've got a 4 month old pair for $1300 a guy is holding for me so if you Mate can beet that we can talk buisiness
-
Pretty pro ay, DJ City messaged me asking if it was a real product
-
Nice sol, looks better then I expected
-
oh so do you have to beat grid the song (or whatever its called) in recordbox 1st? i was under the impression it auto detected the beats similar to what traktor n serato do then its not as bad as i 1st thought and yes the cdj900's do have qauntized loops exactly like the cdj2000 Thats only for the cdj900 and cdj2000
-
yeh but maybe no 1 has tried it lol, im not game to try it incase it fucks something haha and im not gonna spend an extra $2000 on 2000's just for hot cue's haha, if i want them that bad ill just buy a cheap as 1000 mk1 or mk2 for like $400 haha thanks for the input guys, was just brainstorming
-
I'm interested if he can beat the $1300 pair I've found and I have to sell my 400's 1st as well if you know anyone looking that would be great
-
How about this, install cdj2000 firmware on a cdj 850 and it will think it has hot cue's, then either program the external pad in or maybe it will just think the auto loops on the left are hot cue buttons... Thoughts?
-
but it requires the use of traktor or serato, i am talking about 1 for use via the CDJ
-
Yeh but you have the choice to use then, qauntized loops are automatic and u can't turn them off (to my knowledge)
-
thats weird as, like i said, put a desk fan facing the back of them and you should be set
-
yeh that was my main concern, needing a laptop and software...i want it to be completely reliant on the CDJ though...o well i doubt i could built 1 haha and Dim, its all marketing man, it makes people buy the cdj2000
-
Was wondering, does this already exist or would it be possible to make an External Hot Cue Pad to plug into the USB port on either the top or back of a CDJ to work exactly like 1000's and 2000's hot cue's? So many whales would buy this i recon pretty much this, wicked paint skills i know

With Djs playing bigger and bigger festivals, some top names have gone beyond the music to put together visually astounding shows that can be enjoyed by thousands of people, all at once. Top acts including Daft Punk, Deadmau5, DJ Shadow, Vitalic, and Etienne De Crecy are all equipped with next level visual systems/dj booths that give the audience a unique look into their performance. Continue reading for some mind bending videos including DJ Shadow’s brand new “Sphere concept” (above) and a simple way to create a similar effect without a giant budget. Due to popular demand and increased expectations, a lot of big name producers/djs are taking their live shows to a whole new level. Even though some are incorporating instruments, employing midi controllers, or using custom software, in most live settings it’s pretty difficult to get a good vantage point to see them flex their skills in action. In addition, given the growing popularity of electronic music and the advent of numerous music festivals, artists are getting pressured to put on “a show” in the grandest sense. Case in point, check out Deadmau5′s mesmerizing current live visual show (that can be seen below). It seems like ever since the Daft Punk pyramid gained international notoriety from their “Alive 2007″ tour, a whole slew of complex live visual setups have come to surface. While people have been creating quality light shows and on screen visuals for years it has only been recently that they have taken the natural next step to integrating visuals into part of the physical stage. A prime example of this is Etienne De Crecy’s EXYZT cube and Vitalic’s V-Mirror show below. If you’re looking for a way to bring some live visuals into your personal setup, unfortunately there are not too many inexpensive options at this point in time. However, one budget minded option that would be relatively simple to work into your set is a midi controlled Colorsynth (shown below), that as a DIY kit only costs about $100 (for one). However, if you’re really rolling in the dough you could pimp out your room with a Nightworks 3d LED cube, although your wallet could be empty for a while.
