Recently I've been looking at getting into a bit of production, mainly producing hip hop beats and such. Just was curious as to what equipment YOU all think I will need. This is my plan

- NI Maschine + Softwear (For darty dirty drums)

- Midi Controller (Suggest which one I should be looking at, affordable price)

- Running through MacBook Pro

- Studio Monitors

- Bass Guitar cause Midi Bass = Poo

What else do I need cause this is all that springs to mind

Help a fella out?

I own THE comfiest chair ever ey. Its a leather swivel comp chair with a full back and a lean. So darty. Yeah forgot I wanted monitors. Any suggestions as to which Midi Cntrlr to go with?

ive barely used the bastard cause im a lazy sod but from what ive seen my mpk49 is just a great alround controller...there are other members with 1, maybe tomy, CBG, or wazza i think

what chev said, even if you keep with it you dont need it all, ive been on it for 3 years and have never had any hardwear, i dont even have monitors, just a comfy chair, a laptop and logic :)

i don't even have a comfy cchair yet :(

i just sprawl out on the lounge or something get a blanket and get comfy as fuck
