  1. what monitors you looking at? KRKs are boss.
  2. hoddi said gognarts or something. made me kik. jks
  3. nah this seemed way worse, the sound was so shit.
  4. I remember saying something similar on the last track you posted, as I felt there was a similar problem with it, but there needs to be more dynamic range between the build and drop coz when the drop comes around it doesn't really hit. fill up the noise spectrum or whatever you call it as much as you can without making it sound like shit on the first beat of the drop. Bass kick, cymbal crash, 808 boom, a down sample, or maybe a kick with a heap of reverb on it (though I havent tried it but heard some sick reverb kick samples that sound massive). rest is sick though, you have some beast synth sounds.
  5. Complextro artists like Darth & Vader, Dirtyloud, Porter Robinson, Lazy Rich, Lucky Date all go well together.
  6. dee why hotel is shit. its crowded as fuck, the line is fucking ridiculous, the djs are always smashing it in the red and making it super distorted. butttt, the majority of the chicks that work there are smokin.
  7. good, now post a mix bro. C:
  8. poser
  9. The strokes on the 1, 2, 3 and 4 of a 1/16th stroke roll are usually accented for drum rolls when talking about drumming in general, but I dont hear it much in edm. so something along the lines of... 1 e & a 2 e & a 3 e & a 4 e & a
  10. sick, now post a mix C:

if anyone has a 320kbs version of this could you send it this way
  14. whats the standard for drum and bass and drumstep? is it 172 or 178?
  15. nup, not filthy enough. nah this is pretty rude, you just need some punchier kicks and snares then youd be sweet.
  16. is it around 172bpm?
  17. yeah most people would probably think its sounds faimilar coz the Daft Punk sample. not as fidgety, but stuff like this would probably be too dirty to play:
  18. I think the super glitchy fidget stuff which is what the genre is about isnt that popular as most is way too dirty and mainstream crowd cant get into it. stuff like this is what im talking about
  19. drumming also helps heaps structure wise, and being able to get the phrasing of your tracks all good, plus knowing where to put fills in and maybe just subtle things like hi-hat patterns to give the beat a bit more variety.

    TOTD?

Track of the millenium more like it!
  21. I got the smaller version of the UDG wallet that holds 128 CDs in the steel and orange colour and it looks so badass. Ive got the tracklist inserted in the sleeves along with the CDs and everything fits super well and the thing that binds all the sleeves together is super solid. so glad I bought it.
