for some reason this came easy to me once i learn one little trick, slow the song down that your cueing first then slowly speed it back up slowly, so you don't get confused, this way you will know which one your cueing in and what helped me, was i put the master at about half volume in my ear (and put both cups on so you don't get confused with the speaker noise) and the cue at full volume, this also stops confusion on which kick is the cued one and which kick is the already playing one

i didn't think youtube was smart enough to decipher the audio to check for copyright issues

are you wanting to just do backyard mixing? or yu wanting to make money out of this? or is it your want to go pro for club mixing? figure out your end motivation and that will determine what gear you will need

i think if you can get good remix's to songs than this is your key to "standing out" from the other mobile DJ's whenever i play a party or birthday, everyone always wants to know where i got that remix from and some think i mixed it on the fly (what they don't know wont hurt them ) so this is my advice to you, always have about 6 remix's on your songs ready, and ready the crowd for what type they want (eg house, disco, electro, dubstep) and this way you will be able to put a chart topper that will also keep the mood running the way the dancefloor needs to flow. for example, if you see a circle forming and people start shuffling, bust out some dubstep remixes even you just beat match the crowd will think your doing some mixing
