  1. Nice one
  2. The more CPU power being used by the computer at any one time, the more unstable it becomes. When it gets close to 80-90 and 100% it can be very unstable to use. However saying that, i used to use traktor 2 with midi on my 4 year old MacBook pro core 2 duo, CPU never went past 5%. That is also partly due to how I set my computer up so minimum CPU is spent on system tasks. so If you have a decent computer set up correctly with traktor configured right, you should be fine.
  3. Dled most of those andyman, cheers
  4. DLing for tomorrows epic car trip. Will post back post-listen
  5. the more you carry it around, the more you will realise how heavy it is i guess.
  6. I thought it was a quad i7 when i linked it, woops. Then your right in that regard. I tried it myself once, didn't work too well. Stability can't be guaranteed with win hardware running OSX. But if your set on a win, http://www.centrecom.com.au/catalog/n53 ... ml?sort=3a better computer, and asus have 2yr warranty standard. Relatively same price. They have stores all around melb

  8. The one i showed has a faster processor am i not wrong? Yes it has less ram, but its enough for what you need, and can upgrade that down the track if you like. RAM and HDD's are cheap and easy to upgrade, can't really upgrade a processor in a laptop easily though. And it's not 100% about the specs. As the same parts are powering a different systems. Your going to get better performance off lower specs with a mac due to the operating system is more streamlined etc. Your paying for the hardware and software experienced combined, the less hassles you will have later, the better security, less driver issues etc. As for putting OSX on a windows computer, don't bother if you want something that is stable, which is what a DJ laptop needs to be. I agree win laptops are better for other things, they dominate the enterprise, business, and gaming sectors, you going to need a windows computer at some stage if you use it for any of those, but for music and production, mac just works better. My 2 cents, take it or leave it meg
  9. http://store.apple.com/au/product/FC724X/A If your going to use it for DJing, this would be better. Sorry to say, but you can't beat a mac for this stuff. Problem?
  10. might dl instagram now and check it, haven't used it before
  11. you would need to buy adapters and converter boxes which makes it quite expensive and not worth it at all. If you want to hook an xbox to a pc screen, get a pc screen with hdmi port in it that supports 50hz, that's what i did with my ps3 and benq monitor. This is the one i have, and it works well. http://www.centrecom.com.au/catalog/9hl ... ml?sort=3a
  12. ^this. I was new not that long ago, you just don't get the same kind of help anywhere else. That's what's So good about adjf

  14. meme creations when drunk on chat was pretty gold
  15. Never used windows traktor, but could be a driver issue. Try installing asio4all drivers and see if that helps http://www.asio4all.com/
  16. ahk, thanks for clearing that up for me anyway man
  17. you drag the yellow bar to the right, and it increases the latency

    icwhatudidthere. welcome
  19. The audio needs to be on mixtrack pro to make it work through headphones and speakers simulatneously Put audio on mixtrack pro, then adjust latency to the right and see how you go
  20. did you try and put your sound card settings to mixtrack pro and adjust your latency as i previously recommended? Looking at the specs of your laptop it may not handle having it on a very low setting. Also, did you update to latest version? Assuming not, as you need a legit copy with an NI account to update. Post back once you have installed LE version and updated it to latest patch. To do this you will need to make an account on NI website, using your traktor le serial to get access to the updates.
  21. hahaha rightio, no worries
  22. Skip to 1:05, that's what i'm trying to do, but don't think i can from a bit more reading around. Would be handy to resort playlists by key on the fly
