    Residency?

    LOL
  2. All roads lead to getting an x1
  3. no, it only processes wav and mp3, so you would have to record the external source to a wav, then process it through mixed in key.
  4. Mixed In Key has released a new piece of software, called "Mashup" to a public beta, currently available to Mixed In Key 5 Customers. Taken from site: Create Your Own Mashups We had a simple idea. We wanted to create our mashups in 5 minutes or less, but there was no software to make it easy. Our new "Mashup" software helps you beatmatch tracks and render your mix to a new audio file. It uses Mixed In Key 5's patented algorithm to find 100% compatible tracks that will sound great together. This is our new ultra-fast audio editor for Mac and Windows. Our favorite features: Precise beatmatching for your audio tracks High, Mid and Low equalizer Ability to edit volume envelopes quickly and easily Full integration with Mixed In Key 5 - Mashup will load information from your "Browse Collection" window If you are a MIK 5 customer, to download the beta for youself go to: http://mashup.mixedinkey.com/
  5. you need to get out of the latrobe valley, its kinda shite
  6. Yer as cupe said, they could have made a better ad. But we will see how it fares when some proper critics get their hands on it
  7. Fits 120 Cds. Turns out CDs are unavoidable as few places are still rocking 1000's in my area. Bought from DJ Factory in Perth
  8. Foolish said it all. Even though i only have Cdj's, I set them on the lower ranges (6 or 10%) , and I've never really needed to change it out to 16% or 100% as I try to keep songs close to their original tempo. IMO it doesn't sound very good when using a song too far from its original pitch. But at the end of the day it's what your comfortable with. Personally I'd leave them on 8% and adjust out to 25% if you need to for that track.
  9. Yer as jaz said, Its easier and better for scratching
  10. Yer there used to be a program called beatport downloader, which just allowed you to download tracks once you had purchased off the website. This program allows you to browse, purchase, view charts etc. all within the app. Guess they are trying to make it more like the iTunes store in the way you can browse and download
  11. Keen to play this out
  12. I'd only go to see cudi, but probably playing in le club the weekend it's in melb. O well
  13. Beatport have released a new program for Mac OS X into public beta, called Beatport Pro. 21. I like it man, the only thing I would Change is maybe clean up the vocals on the drop around 1 min, so they are a tad less distorted. Thats just my opinion though Would definitely play this when you finish it as a top40 dubstep tune man
