  1. Sol, try a different browser. Aka Firefox. Chrome, safari etc. can sometimes be unreliable doing that sort of thing
  2. Gonna be on a plane home tonight, will miss majority if not all of chat party
  3. Nice Hobberz
  4. Just had a look, most Stanton mixers dont seem to have it. Pioneer ones tend to have a feature where you plug the kaoss pad straight into the mixer and it will route audio accordingly. Carry on trying sols method
  5. Nice Cupe
  6. Just plug it straight in the back of the mixer in the send/receive effects inputs. Easier. Send goes to kp3 in Kp3 out goes to receive. Put the Rec out back into line in of computer
  7. Do it ^ Have you got link to the tracks Cupe?
  8. http://soundcloud.com/streetcleaner-1/streetcleaner-shoreside Got this track when I hit shuffle this morning. No explanation needed
  9. I just tag all my songs with all the info (title, artist, album, key, bpm, genre) then make a playlist folder for each new month - eg "2012-01" Inside that folder I'll make a playlist for an individual release if I bought the full cd/ep. Then put the rest in a separate playlist "DL'ed in jan '12". Sometimes I split that playlist into genres, depending how many songs are in it. It's usually only 50-100 tracks anyway, so I just leave it. From this I can easily search/browse. Searching is easy as all songs are tagged correctly, and browsing is also easy, as I'll have a good idea of how long ago I got the track, and look in that months playlist folder. I also make playlists for each genre to act as a pool of songs to choose from for each gig I do. The day before I just put songs I think will be appropriate for that night in the playlists
  10. -less is moar
  11. the main steps should be: -plug in mixtrack (also have NI8 unplugged) -open traktor -open preferences -run setup wizard -change audio source to mixtrack -change mixing mode to internal And you should be right to go. Strange. I'll have a think about it and a bit of a search around and get back to you bud
  12. Itch 2.1 has exited beta and has gone final release. Can be downloaded at http://serato.com/downloads/itch

  14. Didn't just vote for myself, gave vote to deserving winner. Which is obvious coz I have 0 votes for myself in one of them lol
  15. Ill do a 3-4 hr set and use the filter maybe 5 times and that's it. But I'm not one for cheesy effects, tend to just use the natural builds and drops in songs, and eq accordingly
  16. Pretty sure I have, I'll double check later tonight

  24. First setup; Mixtrack pro MacBook pro (already had this though) Hd 25 sp ii headphones Bought this couple of months before I turned 18. Had that for a couple of months, did a couple of free gigs and a couple of paid gigs. Cost me about 300 for the mix track pro and 240 for the headphones. Then I got my first proper setup ( what I have now): Cdj 850s Djm 700 Reloop dj monitors on stands Kept same headphones (hd 25 sp ii's) Purchased this just after I turned 18 ( September last year). Got this setup as I wanted to get more serious and get my skills up to club level, which I've started playing out now. Cost me $3200 new from djwarehouse
  25. You need the master out going to your speakers, the record out goes into the traktor box
