  2. Had a feeling they may have been
  3. added missing image tags to step 3 looks fuarking boss! What monitors are those?
  4. Don't go strictly by the keys as you're limiting yourself then. Mixing In key Is good, however you also need to remember the saying "if it sounds good, it is good".
  5. i did post it wrong initially, then i proof read it and fixed. Pretty sure laidback luke, eats everything & mobin master are a few people who use the rekordbox keys. the test i posted was using the latest version of MIK (5), so not sure how much newer you want
  6. I've heard of plenty of artists switching to rekordbox key detection. From reading on the Internet as well as my own experience, I think it is similar to other key detection software, with roughly 50%. Mixed in Key is also around this mark. Here is a picture of one particular comparison that was done. Note it doesn't include rekordbox, however i'm fairly confident it's in a similar ballpark to MIK and rapid evolution. However note that rekordbox doesn't put your music in the camelot format and uses standard key notation (which you're probably already aware of) so it requires some musical knowledge about what keys work well harmonically with others, the circle of fifths etc.
  7. compared to the other 8 tracks in that list I'd call them good. Comparing them to the rest of the deep house coming out at the moment is a whole different thing altogether.
  8. They are the only 2 good tracks in the 10
  9. I'm downloading the app now
  10. The début album from Maya Jane Coles is out July 1, but if you're like me and can't wait, there is a free stream of it if you download the clash music app from the iOS app store. Check the article out below: Taken from http://stoneyroads.com/listen-to-maya-j ... but-album/ The reigning queen of deep house, I/AM/Me label owner and British/Japanese producer Maya Jane Coles will release her debut album, Comfort, next month, and has now made it available for all to hear in a very unexpected way. London music rag Clash has teamed up with Maya to stream her forthcoming LP via its free iPhone app, making the music available for iOS users from now until its July 1 release date. 12. If you change it to +/- 6 it is still roughly 0.8 to go from 127 to 128. Please note you'll be much better off using your ears to do the beat matching instead of guessing the percentage increments, as among other reasons, these percentages aren't going to work when you start mixing other tempos
  13. It is going to be smaller scale, with more lesser known (aka actually quality) acts. It is marketed as a 'party' rather than a 'festival' (as described by promo material).
  14. I have the whole week off work, might crank a mix out

  16. Um what? I just said how you can fix it. Beatport were having dns issues, so now all the dns Servers need to replicate, which takes ages. Depending what isp you use, yours may update quick or slow. Googles dns Servers update fairly quick, and I can confirm that when using the Google dns Servers you can access beatport
  17. What company is your internet with? You could also try set your dns to Google Servers instead of your isp dns servers (8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4)
  18. Its working. Something to do with your device / ISP. Possibly cache / dns related
  19. it is working from my house using firefox
  20. http://listen-out.com.au/ Some dope names Miguel Campbell & Laura Jones
