OK, so you are looking at getting into producing as well as DJing? They are two separate things. DJing = loading up already made music onto decks then mixing multiple songs together using a variety of techniques Producing (in it's most modern computerised form) = sitting on your computer using virtual instruments to write your own music. Buying decks and learning to mix leads to DJing. Transforming ideas from your head into music leads to producing. It can all be confusing due to the fact most DJs these days produce music as well
ok so you can see the realtek card is selected. We need to change that so the pioneer is being used. Try double clicking on the pioneer and see if you can get that green arrow to be set to the pioneer card instead of the realtek. Then close and reopen traktor and try set your output routing again
Should be a little icon in the taskbar on the bottom right of the screen (click the white arrow to the left of the norton security logo). One of them will be the ASIO4ALL settings. Open it and screenshot
that shouldnt even happen. Why's that? If you have an international or something you wouldnt announce them starting? No. Perhaps it's different here but I wouldn't do it... that just doesn't happen in Europe. Continuous flow of music is the name of the game. This. Even in Melb they don't do mic work when big acts start / finish (depending on where you go). Guess it just depends on the kind of places you go
