Super OEM is a bunch of turntables that all use the same core made in China, with different exteriors, badging and tonearms. Aimed af being a lower quality/knockoff of a 1200 in a sense. There is probs a list somewhere of the models that are. Have a look at the Stanton st 150 and the vestax pdx 3000

They are great for non custom - can barely see them when in ear. I know Anditz and a few others on here use them as well. Can get them from dj warehouse

I use these http://www.etymotic.com/ Wear them not just when DJing, but general clubbing. Saves ears. To get anything better than those you'd be looking at custom moulded ones (which is a very viable option if you would use them every week)

Yep, undercharging kills it for the professionals. Some mobile djs charge closer to a grand for a whole night - and they are just jukebox DJs not mix DJs. They do conduct themselves professionally though
