Winner to be shared via ausdjforums soundcloud and Facebook page? If thats ok with cupe

If you want a hand with tracks let me know. How about every track must be used, no time length, and til the end of March to complete the mix? sounds good i vote no no samples, max should be 45mins? make it too long and not everyone will have the time to listen to everyone's mix

Post the tracks and I'll give it a go

I got bored on the flight from Perth to Sydney and I was missing my pioneer gear so I decided to make a touchosc inspired version's of them. These can be used with Touchosc Bridge (so no need for Osculator etc) and everything as tested fine for me. I dont use 4 decks normally but it was easy to add them in there and I might get used to using them someday. My main aim in this was to put the users focus on the ipad (except when browsing for tracks). So warning lights, volume levels etc all feed back to the ipad so you can keep your focus there. Notes: Layout is: Deck A-DeckB-Mixer-DeckC-DeckD Loop LED's currently light up left to right as if your scrolling along them, I couldn't figure out how to only the one you want to select light up (help anyone?) I put play buttons in the mixer area because Traktor doesn't do fader start (so workaround of doing this in my mind) When on the mixer screen, if the track gets below 30 seconds run time a LED will light up behind each letter to warn you EQ Reset buttons will reset the EQ of the deck you press on back to it's defaults. Saves you having to fiddle with getting EQ's back to normal with your fingers. Press the shift button + hotcute button to delete a hotcue Press on the center of the deck and it will stop the music just like a CDJ http://www.4shared.com/zip/ppMP7l-T/TouchoscCDJDJM.html

http://www.goldwave.com/ It costs $50 or $20 but It can be used for batch processing, uses LAME and you can create custom profiles to convert into mp3's. I've used it for years and it's never let me down. Maybe look into Platinum Notes as well, it might be able to convert from flac and also audio level your collection, remove clipping etc at the same time.

I agree with Mitch_Fudd, Personally I stay away from i3 machines, kinda like the old Celeron's. Getting a i5 processor will be much better for him. i3's are really good for low power consumption etc but they are not built for speed and intensive stuff. For the extra $75 http://www.umart.com.au/pro/products_li ... &sid=83077

Try updating windows via windows update, I just installed Traktor 2 LE and traktor 2 pro 2.1.2 to my Win 7 64-bit SP1 laptop with no problems Or try uninstalling traktor completely, reboot then disable whatever antivirus software you have installed and then install and update. Could your the antivirus messing with it if you have one installed.

i was just about to say this nice set up though guys gonna have to post some mixes up with em I plan to do this by the end of the month, going from 350's to 2000's was easy cause of the layout, but in my head I reckon my mixes were better on the 350's using traktor

Sorry for the shit pics but the iphone camera is all I have at the moment. Planning on picking up a new camera duty free when I head to Phuket and Koh Samui in March Decided to use Traktor over Rekordbox as when I go travelling I've got my Ipad\Touchosc, Numark DJ2GO, X1 and Audio 2. Saves me having to duplicate all my cue points. Suppose I should really record a mix one of these days...

1328 songs @ 320kbs mp3 = 13.8GB I keep my DJ library stored separately and also separate iTunes setup. Import everything into iTunes and then into Rekordbox and Traktor
-
You could use iTunes match to get copies of your lower than 256kb songs and redownload them at 256 iTunes AAC? Worked great for me
-
I think the 350s are bigger than the 200's so probably not. Email the StoreDJ guys and they will help you out. I put a wanted ad up on gumtree and a week or so later I had a coffin case to suit my 350 set for $150 from memory. Say in the add that you want need it to suit the CDJ 350\400 series to make sure it's the right size.

By unable to add\edit controllers you mean import the tsi file?
-
That's the one, but from the reviews I read it was crap and expensive so I didn't bother with it. Sometimes people on gumtree put an add on there for leasons in Perth (perhaps put one on there yourself asking for lessons). Otherwise youtube 'ellaskins' and I found his videos helpful (although he does crap on a little bit). His full website is: http://www.djtutor.com

windows or mac? you'll need the drivers for windows off the pioneer website or the CDJ aggregator for OSX. Update the firmware on both CDJ's and the mixer to the latest versions if you haven't already. You dont need a traktor audio setup as the CDJ's can be used as sound cards and midi controllers. I've got it advertised on gumtree and another forum as well, I'll be selling to the first person who gives me $1400 sorry

nah got the 350 combo at the moment, felt like I was being limited by them a bit once I got my head around beatmatching etc. Also got insanely jealous everytime I went to a mates house who had 4xCDJ2000's, DJM900\DM2000 etc so in the end I just bought it
-
Selling due to upgrade, still has warranty until end of June 2012. Comes with orginial boxes, cabling, receipt and roadcase (roadcase was purchased 2nd hand and top is not in picture but I have it). I can't see any scratches on them so I would call them perfect condition, never taken out of my house. Not looking to post at this stage, but if your interested and require postage let me know anyway. If posted I'll put everything back in it's orginial boxes so theirs padding etc. buyer pays all costs $1400 Sorry for the crappy iphone pic
