Hey guys im looking to pick up a relatively cheap 4 gun laser. Choice between the Shinp dl-55b which i can get for about 150 it has had about 30hrs use. (is this the one Sol has?) Although it is 55c in pic, i would be getting the 55b (same look just different colours) which is stricktly a red/green laser. or this one http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/4-Gun-Laser- ... 3cc70af88a which i can get for about 160 and is new In my mind, they both do the same thing, except one is new anyone bought/owned either of these and can give their thoughts basically which should i pick

spend it while you have it. once gf gets in picture. money=gone. although, if you pretended the bank was a gf and then just sent all your money to bank, you could kinda kill two birds with one stone. cant root a bank Challenge accepted no but you can root the banks best friend. the savings and loans officer

OK thought ide better do this before Dekon kills me I Had a party at my place last night and the big man Defkon rocked the house. All the way from Perth with his wax. Cross country dj'ing. Played for a solid couple hours. Killed it. ADJF radio DJ. A couple of pics from the night up At start with the dnb later, going outside by the fire at the start of the dub during dnb set It was a great night, after defkon got off, i played for a couple of hours, then left it on premixes and parties well into the morning BIG thanks Defkon +rep

where do you find the remixes though? im having little luck with beatport, itunes isnt much help (i know, not 320, but was just seeing what i could fish out), soundcloud there is just so much stuff to dig through with little direction.

Just found this list, in the process of downloading a few of the tracks, any ideas about commercial stuff from the last 12 months?

Ok, so here is the dealio i have some questions about commercial/cheese. I know this can be a touchy topic so feel free to flame, I have a few gigs coming up for the youngerlings. a 16th, 17th and an 18th (still a month and a bit off) an im looking to get some commercial/floorfillers, that i can just hit without too many problems (i wont claim to be the best or worst dj im ok but wouldnt say im super fantastic ie like hobberz, cupe, gandy, defkon and the like. still a little bit of a noob but as always it comes with practice and ill get there..eventually). Problem is i dont like alot of the songs as they are so am looking for some good remixes, club edits are often nice. Basically super commercial that all the little peeps can sing to early in the night until they settle into their other stuff and I can go back to mixing whatever else i like. If there is an existing thread like this please refer me too it, i had a look earlier but couldnt really find what i was looking for. Now the problem isnt always knowing a list of remixes, but physically being able to aquire them, i know I search and cant find a few things on beatport. If you list a track can you please link it to a source so it can be purchased. It is preferable for them to be of similar bpm (122-130ish is prefered but not essential). I wish to stick towards like house/prog house/electo. A few dubstep ones would be good but i generally find enough of them out there myself as they seem to be remixed alot. But some crowds just dont like dubstep and i need somethings to play in the meantime. The sorta thing im looking for is like Paradise-Coldplay (freddie le grand remix) Set fire to the Rain-Adele (thomas gold remix) Hangover-Taio Cruz (Hardwell Extended Remix) Pressure-Nadia Ali(Alesso Remix) A bit mixed but I think you get the general idea Im looking to eventually amass about 40-50 songs that I can just have there in case (maybe eventually use in like a promo mix or something) I also slapped this one in beginners because i figure it would be a good reference point for peoples just getting into it (i mean realistically, showing up to a girls 16th and blasting dnb, moombah or dub maybe funny as hell but its unlikely to get you that referral that enables you branch out and eventually play whatever you want). So anyways, suggestions would be nice.

well register it as a society, hold a 'free lessons event' and you'll get on every tv/radio/newspaper for + + + exposure.

Would just show up to watch cupe try to not murder all the people. If you do teach people, make sure u do it on 400's/350's/800's. As good as it is to try and teach on 1000's/2000's you have to be realistic when thinking that 90% of people you have interested will be turned off if the gear they learnt on is going to set them back 5k. Also, (sorry if this is confidential info or something) is ADJF making any sort of profit? if not, put it in every community connect initiatives, means free tv/radio/newspaper ads. great exposure. my dad runs a radio station and they're community ad spots are rarely filled. in our listening are that would equate to (if you had ads in there) 20-30 seconds, 2-3 times an hour to nearly 150000 people. that would mean more than 20minutes a day, people could be listening to adjf info. just a thought
