ok, worked out how to use the old version. will be testing when I get the chance, but i figure it will be fine since there is a large difference in CPU usage when idle (between the old version and 2.11)

midi seems ok, timecode is the issue

yeah tsp 2.1.1 yeah theres two types of sync... one is proper sync as you know it, and the other just loads the new track at the same tempo as the master track. taking the latency down further would be going into unnaceptable levels (IMO) is it easy to roll back to the previous version? i've never done it before. cheers eggs, you've been a great help +rep

I have missed numerous updates, and thought it was about time to update. My laptop is pretty old... it's within the minimum spec range. core duo with 2gb ram. hmmm

ok, I updated traktor to the latest version and it's pretty much fucked everything. CPU usage is through the roof, and all i get is staticy garbage as soon as i have two tracks playing at once. I've droped the latency down to between 15 and 20, put it into economy mode and removed decks 3 & 4.... and it still distorts with all that staticy garbage. Time for a new lappy I think?
