Tried to listen through your chart last night but due to my shit connection I only managed to lsten to a couple. Love the bassline on this one. Will Saul is one of my favourite producers/DJ's. heard this one somewhere before. It totally reminded me of a night out somewhere... I just cant remember what night or where!

I don't think I could pin it down to one track that made me want to DJ. That just comes from a love of all types of music and the want to inflict it upon others. However, during the early 90's the UK charts had a heavy influence from the house revolution that was taking place, and being 11 year sold in '94 (also before the internet having anyting to do with music promotion) my influence came from listening to the radio. 1 tracks from that year assured my life long love affair with electronic music.... And 1 year later this track cemented the obsession. Both tracks from albums that will always be at the top of my all time favourites.

Always loved the use of the Gladys Knight sample on this one.

You don't wanna just be buying the same as everyone else though. Like you also said... it's a never-ending digging exercise through blogs and other various related sites. not as much fun as visiting a record store.
