wht jaz said, try not to stick to one genre, mixing a range of diffrent genre's will really help your skills, and you can incorporate the diffrent styles with in each other to make for some intersting mixing. at home i play anything from dubstep/electro/fidget/breaks and party. when i play out i mainly play electro and fidget.

yep go into the edit profile (along the top of the music player youll notice a few icons, a downward arrow, something that looks like a pencil and a trshcan, click on the pencil, it will open up an editing page down the bottom of that inthe wdget sections woulld notce three boxes, 2 of them will have green ticks, and 1 will have a red cross though it, click the one with the red cross (should be the one on the left) to make it downloadable then save changes

i dont think thats a fair argument man. on vinyl you can find the part of track you wanted to cue up just like you can with the cdj's. Beatlock takes away the key fundamental of the DJ, beat matching. agreed with the loop buttons, but i rarely ever see them used. we could argue on this topic all day constantly highlighting flaws in each others arguments, but that wouold bve stupid as it wouldnt prove or change anything, and its not what this thread is about. ontopic, with the 400's effects, tbh i almost never use them what so ever, the built in effects on cdj's are ussualy pretty shitty, its the efects you get on your mixers that are of use of external effect units. shouldnt be to much of a hard choice, both are equal as good cept one is a little newer. they will both get the job done for you, i may lean toward the 350's though due to what djaz said about the pitch control being better, as for the USB's 400's have USB connections as well. at least mine do

for that price range id say anything over the 400's are out of your pricerange, you may be able to pick up a second hand pair of 400's and a mixer for that price, but youd have to dom serious searching. id say save up for a bit longer

yea record yourself, pitch it down or up, filter it re sample it chop it computer voices sound boring anyway
