  7. ok well ill give you a list of the mainstream dubstep artists that love the wob wob wob WOAHHHHH stuff. ill give the big names first Rusko Caspa Chase N Status Nero Subfocus Skrillex Excision Datsik Doorly Borgore Skrein Skism Urban Assault Flux Pavillion Doctor P Skream Specimen A Bare Noize DZ BassNecter Ill post more later. Ill wait for Chev to make a post. my knowledge only goes well with the new age dubstep, chev knows heaps about the genre as a whole though, think he will be able to give you some good names to look up in both the new age dubstep and the original style of dubstep which i guess is more minimal/atmospheric/subbass style of dubstep. alot fo the new stuff is pretty much just simple drums and loud twisted bass's
  8. what spit says.....i absolutle HATE stading there. weve now got our laptop full of samples on some program, so we can run vocal loops over while the other guy is mixing, then swap over....
  9. design it on acid...youll get heaps creative. all the best artists in the world do it. The beatles, red hot chilli peppers...............and,.....uhhhh yeah right. drugs are bad mkay
  10. no licence for the club, the club should have th elicence to cover you. no idea for parties, ive done mates parties with no licence
  11. eat some acid?
  12. i dunno, maybe its just the genre's we play can get too repedative if we let it play out to the outro/most of the second drop....tend to let the first drop play, start mixing in my headphones through the break, if the break is long ill drop the next track in as the first track drops into the second drop, or ill start mixing into the second drop and do a fast transition.....all depends on the song your playing too
  13. cm are great for tutorials, new one has some good ones from high rankin and reso....haha man high rankin is a douche
  14. noooo im capped..ill be getting on this on the 1st of jan. Cupe can you sticky this thread untill the fina date?
  15. personally i tend not to play a track longer then 2 minutes in a club.
  16. backsin with echo.....
  17. maybe i just havnt learnt how to use it to its full extent, ill have alook at it tomorow
  18. its also starting to rain....
  19. yeah there is but it would be as easy as say using the time warp in ableton.... with logic you highlight an area(say 4 bars) and the audio clip youve slected will stretch itself to the length of 4 bars.
  20. yeah i know what you mean, but then id have my dance track paying at the speed of a hiphop track and would be hard to get it to match up to 130ish bpm
  21. thats a nice little idea chris, will be trying that, cheers
  22. hey guys, just wondering what methods you all use to sync your acapellas, im fine syncing short audio samples like 4 or 8 bars from a verse... but im wanting to use a full acapella for a few upcoming bootlegs. mainly want to sync a bunch of nas songs into dubstep...dubstep being 140bpm and hiphop being anywhere from 75 too 100 i think. is there another way other then choping and stretching the audio to where you think its right.....its such a long and gruelling process
  23. with lights out and moonchild... etc? yep yeop, play with those guys most weekends i play in sydney. moonchild is a legend
  24. yeah iknow what you mean, but thats going to be the best thing about this, will force us to get creative...although i havnt really done anything amazing haha
  25. nice one hearts!
