Fuck that cunt can speak -
For the laptop question, I'd trawl some threads in the Computer Corner cause a few people have asked the same thing. Might help you out.

If there’s one thing that keeps the internet going (besides porn, obviously), it’s cat videos. So we can’t exactly blame bassheads Dillon Francis and Flux Pavilion for making their own—which, yes, stars themselves as cats. The video for “I’m the One” is definitely a surreal experience, but it wouldn’t be half as creepy were it not for the fact that two of our favorite banger masters have been turned into USB-powered kittens. That’s not all that’s new for Flux Pavilion, though. He’s also set to release a new compilation on his Circus label on March 24 entitled Grand Central. So check out his contribution to the collection, “Exostomp,” along with the aforementioned “I’m the One” video below:

While Deadmau5 is actively trying to lose Facebook fans, David Guetta’s pretty content with his more than 50 million followers. So when his ticker clicked over that mark the other day, Guetta released a special 13-minute video documenting “A Party 424 Meters Under the Sea,” a gig he played with Infected Mushroom in Masada, Israel, which is supposedly the lowest place on earth. Guetta is obviously humbled by the experience of playing to thousands of fans there, and you can see it in the interview footage that’s cut into the piece, along with clips of the production and performance coming together. Check it out below:

If you’ve been to a club, a mall, a gym, a festival—hell, if you’ve even just left your house—in the last six months, you’ve probably been bombarded with Avicii’s Aloe Blacc-featuring country-tinged track “Wake Me Up.” Well, turns out it’s now officially the most-played song ever on Spotify, according to Billboard. We’re talking 200 million streams of the banjo-twangin’ tune, which also was the first song to hit 100 million streams.

As a part of the 99% of sensible people who go out and are known to occasionally indulge in alcohol (minus the roids or attitude) from time to time, juggled with my inability to get up in time for work today due to this, I thought I might turn my self-inflicted pain into an early insight road-test on Sydney’s new lock out laws. First and foremost, Lock Out laws to me didn’t seem to effect early attendance on venues. Punters still came in the masses as keenly as ever. When it come to the steady flow of people in and out throughout the night, by 1.30am the stream that always did exist had sadly been abruptly shut. 1:30 to 3am is a tricky time because if you’ve been out drinking, it’s often nice to head out of a venue for a little bit to grab a bite and keep yourself on level terms. This was the biggest disadvantage and actually quite detrimental to tipping me over the edge – so to speak – and is the reason I could not lift my head off the pillow. But who needs Civil Rights anyway hey Barry! Although not the usual busy weekend night, the predicted tip-over onto the streets happened and I could only think how much agitation this IS going to cause once weekend 1 with Mardi Gras and more happens. From my first road test, I conclude I think economically NSW business is going to be hit the hardest as opposed to it curbing violence. I was more intoxicated by the time I left due to being locked in than most times I would go, so it’s hard to predict what effect this will have on stopping violence. These laws just don’t seem like the answer, but as Wayne and law abiding citizens say, “Party on Garth!’ Source: stoneyroads.com

It’s been a while since Daft Punk hit the road for a world tour, the last was way back in 2006-2007 for the ‘Alive’ edition that saw the mighty pyramid visit most countries around the world including Australia that claims to be the fastest selling Daft Punk event in history (go team!). Even though the robots have been publicly stating they don’t have any plans to tour the new album ‘Random Access Memories’ with Bangalter telling NME specifically it wouldn’t happen ‘any time soon.’ adding ‘We want to focus attention on the record itself, but also the nature of this record makes it not really possible to tour it.” it seems as if that’s not what the pair have been planning after a permit to perform at Wyoming’s Devil’s Tower in the states was knocked back. For movie buffs out there the name should ring a bell, with the location actually being used in cult sci-fi film ‘Close Encounters of the Third Kind’ filmed way back in 1977 when government scientists meet the aliens for the first time via a musical rendition, very fitting. It was Wyomings Trib that spilled the beans on the planned performance with agents representing the Frenchies looking to create a stage area for 50,000 that would have involved lasers being shone directly at the rock, the only hiccup was the site is a national park and home to a number of sacred indian tribes. Bummer. Park services confirmed they had reached out to members of all the tribes but had deemed it inappropriate due it being a night skies and natural park and knocked back the request Jan 31st. The good news is park services seemed to note that the agents “appeared to be scouting locations across the world for a concert or multiple concerts to be held around the summer.”, woo! In terms of long lead for events it would be more probable that a Daft Punk tour would kick off through 2015, exciting stuff. More recently Daft Punk played live at the Grammys alongside Stevie Wonder, which they then proved was the real thing and premiered new material as a feature on Pharrell Williams new album ‘G I R L’ with a perfect cameo on “Gust Of Wind”. His new EP, out yesterday on SMOG Records titled, The Explorer, is the first Ep to hit stores since Vaski began his genre bending adventures in bass music almost a year ago. Needless to say it is absolutely packed with all kinds of fresh, brilliantly crafted sounds fans old and new will enjoy immensely. True to the title this Ep does a great deal of exploring, and leaves the listening wanting much more from this genre defiant master of bass. Pick it up Here, and don’t forget to follow Vaski on Soundcloud. Make sure you also subscribe to his Podcast to hear all new and exclusive music before it hits stores. This is one artist you definitely want to keep your eyes on. We had a chance to sit down with Vaski for an interview after his show in San Francisco on Friday, check it out below. Tell us about your evolution as an artist over the past few months. What made you want to expand outside of Dubstep? Well, I first got into Dubstep because it sounded a certain way and I really liked that specific style, but over the last year and a half it’s changed a lot. I made some songs that followed the trend but I wasn’t too happy with them. I want to find the next new genre, there’s so much diverse new music out there nowadays it inspires me to expand my own boundaries as an artist. How did you get started making music? How did growing up in Minneapolis influence/impede your sound? I grew up listening to House music a lot. My Dad really liked it so I got into electronic music at a very early age. I love the bass scene out in Minneapolis, it’s a great, tight knit, supportive community. We throw 100-4000 person shows that are always a blast, it’s definitely a hidden gem. Who are some of your favorite artists right now? Flume is definitely my favorite right now. Also Waveracer is really good, I’m really digging his style. What’s your favorite program to make music in? I use Logic 9 & 10 right now. One of my favorite plug-ins Sylenth, doesn’t work with 10 just yet because it’s only 32 bit so I still use 9 a lot. (Heads up producers) What’s your favourite place to play outside the States, & where do you want to play that you haven’t played yet? I love playing in New Zealand when I can, it’s so beautiful there and the people are great. I really want to go play in India soon I think that would be really fun, I’d love to share my music with them. Do you have a dream collaboration? I absolutely do, the singer from this band called Mr Little Jeans is amazing. She’s got an incredible voice I’d really like to work with her. What do you like to do when you’re not in the studio? I just relax and chill with my friends really. I have a motorcycle, I like to ride that, I longboard, chill on the beach, etc. Do you have a favorite song right now? Artic Monkeys – Are You Mine. It’s not really EDM, but it’s my favorite at the moment. What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever seen on tour? Oh wow, there are so many moments I’ll just pick one. This one night after a show the lighting crew for a certain artist I’m not going to mention got so drunk they had a bottle fight in the greenroom. Seriously, they were throwing full bottles of beer at each other from behind overturned couches and tables… it was f***ing crazy, there was broken glass & foam everywhere. Source: youredm.com

South African rap rave crew Die Antwoord have let the word out that they are nearing completion of their third studio album ‘Donker Mag’ that contains a very special collaboration. Ninja, who Diplo recently revealed in an AMA (ask me anything) was the real deal, took to social media to update their fans on their current plans by quoting: So who is their very special friend you are probably wondering? It is the equally as wacky and slightly wonderful Aphex Twin who only just recently had tracks featured on Grand Theft Auto V and who’s symbol is tattooed onto Ninja’s arm. What we can expect is a complete mystery but I’m sure both parties involved will be keeping that shit weeeeeeeird. Source: stoneyroads.com
