  4. just click on the link above. it should play out of your browser
  5. haha you cheeky whale the display will say "avicii's USB collection"
  6. true to the poo like some people say aye-dee-jay-eff while some say add-jef plus after your first mtv interview, everyone will know who you are!
  7. send "empia" to a few people and ask how do you think this is pronounced. also i like deadvibe
  8. welcome brother nice to have some more old cats in the fold
  9. code sounds too much like codes from slow roast echo sounds too much like aussie turntablist eko nightscape lunarscape cult empire are some combos i like what about culture club
  10. i would read that as em-pee-ah i know what you are going for em-pie-arr. i think cupe's empiah says that better. but doesn't look as nice. also empia makes me think of "the girl from ipanema"
  11. hey if it works like tsp you should have your mixer set to line. this is basically becasue your turntables are going into the sl1 and then going into the line of the mixer. only when you are using it as pass thru (i.e. playing normal records/ cd's) do you switch it to phono. as to why you are not getting any audio when you have it on line. no idea
  12. if i was going to see an electronic dance act perform their music live, that would be okay. but if i was out on a clubnight. i couldnt care less if the dj was using their feet or standing on their head, as long as the music flowed and the whole night was like a journey. rises and pump ups at the right time, cool down and wooohs in between, and so forth. because while we may all be facing the altar im not actually watching to see what the dj is doing. ive said it before and ill keep saying it, when i went club for me it was all about dancing, so it was all about the music, and the dj was the busdriver taking us on a journey IMO
  13. what the fuck does having extensive music knowledge have to do with having a goodtime and getting your dance on? you can be a fan of music without having to know what presets the guy used or what key the track is. id def rather a bunch of people who were enjoying themselves dancing, not caring they didnt know who made the track (which is how it use to be as djs were the tastemakers hunting down the rarities or fresh off the press vinyl) Than have a bunch of elitists "djs/producer" types standing around around hating
  14. moar street releases! hey didnt i hit you up on soundcloud for a DL link i dont have facey

    iMPC

not bad for $3 or $7.50 for what seems like a fully functional mpc id still prefer my tank at home, but i could see this eliminating the need for the smaller portable one
  16. just closing this saga off. i lodged a paypal complaint online via the resolution centre. they said the dude had like 10 days to respond. he didnt so i got my money back. which means technically i got the digital version for free. but its balls because i actually wanted the record! anyways at least all done. what is a scam is the site is still operating and still selling really expensive "exclusives". including a new collabo with adrian younge and heiroglyphics members the souls of mischief
  17. dj headquarters? anyways pusha is one of my fave lyricists of all time. of all time. but he is starting to sound a bit same same (based on his first solo effort which wasnt quite an album). his stuff with the clipse (his crew w his brother malice) or whenever he had a guest verse he tended to steal the track. just because of the circles he is in now. i know a lot of the tracks will be radio tracks but hope there is a few gems
  18. why not thank them by thumbing their asses!
  19. nic review sol. in regards to beat markers (not having ever used itch and not ever bothering with them in tsp) i am pretty sure with any software you are meant to beat grid your own music. i remember seeing all the tutorials on djtt, sounded like a pain in the butt personally, but yeh i dont think any software claims to be able to beat mark music. they just lay estimates and then you are meant to do it yourself.
  20. how would you cue and pitch w it seeing as there is only one sound output?
  21. hey mann nice. didnt get right thru and just jumped around as some tracks not my thang. but the video mixwork and your mixing is awesome. When im not half passing out ill give it a full watch. need to get some tips on how to mixx hip hop and for savage. dawnraid ftw. forgot all about the camp
  22. i cant see this behind the great wall but keen to check when i get home. im a mega bjork fann and didnt mind the old attenborough doco
