  1. Novas dance radio station
  2. These days with technology changing so rapidly you might start seeing more people using effects units and samplers to be different. However they're more then likely going to be built into mixers more often
  3. Tax should be getting done this week thanks to my cousin so I'll be thinking hard what to buy for my music station
  4. i had a skim and listened to all the transitions. its SO novanation but it was pretty decent man. nice job only thing i'll pick at is that it seems like the levels drop a little at around track 5. duno if its just me but thats all i really heard. nice work
  5. its here! ima listen
  6. This lol look professional? i think he means look like a top bloke not just another wannabe with a mixtape in his pocket. promoters get lots of these so pal up before even letting them know what you're after.... I started my own events on midweek nights at venues. The venues were quiet/had nothing on, I would dj for free and get all my mates to come to buy drinks. got noticed that way and paid gigs followed. learnt a bit about promo doing it a bit myself too.
  7. ok sweet bud. im not having any problems at the moment (touch wood) but i'll have a read of that coz it'll be good to know just in case
  8. id say get to know the promoters first and then when they ask for a demo give them one. just makes you look like a bit of a top bloke and not really a stereotype - if that makes any sense lol
  9. im also not one that supports pirated software and such but to be totally honest, i dont think you'll really need suite. as long as you got the full issue software, you can grab samples anywhere across the web - free and paid! i dont use abelton so im not sure if the suite has samples or not but if it does i would pass on that for now and get it later on once you can affort it
  10. yeah it says im in 64-bit mode and i found out that my processor has a lot to do with that setting. i've changed everything to suit 64-bit but if there's a way of changing it i'd probably prefer that. only saying this because i ran the same software on my mbp which is 10.5 (Leopard)
  11. being a uni student, do you have a uni tav or uni parties or something? that would be a great place to start
  12. ok, done it all. +rep for you sir i was having some major issues with Reaktor so hopefully this fixes it
  13. actually, ive just realised my processor is an i7 with is only 64 bit but the sounds of that link... might have to change over logic to work in 64 bit then :/
  14. cheers bud. id rather work in 32bit mode to be honest lol where abouts do i find the "64-bit Kernel and Extentions" part? opened up the "About This Mac" part and hit More Info but cant seem to find it :/
  15. you wont be upset with that thing. great purchase
  16. yo i need someone to help me identify in Snow Leopard where i can see if im running 32 or 64 bit. im having very awkward moments with system crashes in logic. i think i may be running at 64bit and would love to change that
  17. If it's someone else's gear I'd say it's wrong. If it belongs to the club or the club has hired it, it's worth asking the question
  18. I've always used Korg gear. From rack synths right up to the digital versions of those synths. I don't see any better quality out there. As a live tool they're pure awesome! Synth or effects unit
  19. Don't get the quad off eBay. I'm pretty sure your local music shop would have it for a little more then 300. I'm pretty sure I can get one for 360
  20. Quad! Don't be fooled by anything else. If you're into sampling go for the KP3
  21. tune is heavy dude. nice job. try the deep throat oscillator
  22. haha had a few giggles with this one. especially at the drop
  23. cool track. is that the full version? if it is, i'll D/L and pop it in my next mix. local support
