  1. Haha oh that's cool. I thought u forgot to post a link that's all. I've sorta passed on compressing things. Not sure why but I only seem to compress if I'm sidechaining (which is not very often lol)
  2. Where is it?
  3. Sweet I'll have a look. Thanks
  4. seems pretty simple. if i run traktor, does that mean i only have 4 "decks" in operation only or am i able to trigger loops in Maschine via logic while traktor is running in the background?
  5. for the sound that comes out of massive and only paying that much is ridiculous! its such a powerful tool some of the factory presets arent the greatest but its the creativity of making your own patches where massive really stands out
  6. welcome
  7. Yeah I'll still be keeping the tradition alive and playing vinyl and cd so would like to find a way to incorporate all of this somehow but I don't want to use traktor... If that makes sense?? Yeah I heard of bridge. I use logic and mainstage is a similar for the live thing. I've seen how you can trigger loops with Maschine from your DAW so that should be pretty easy. If I try to explain it simpler.... I guess, I want to use the Maschine software as traktor and using the controller as the decks. I still don't know how I'll use the turnies with this set up but like I said I'm not going to do all this now. Gotta research a little more into it. I know skrillex triggers different tracks with that thing too so I know it's possible
  8. Massive is so user friendly in building your own patches. That's a standout compared to others
  9. Bag Raiders lol
  10. here's one example i'll see if i can find another with a different artist edit: and it will be for both. djing and my own productions
  11. i'll find examples... hold up lol
  12. or you make music with the intention of making money coz programs and controllers and speakers and computers and everything else that goes with it is FUCKING EXPENSIVE!! lol
  13. cool vid. i'm pretty similar when i play live with all the eq and filter cuts and swaps. ive only recently started looping things alot but setting cue points is still something i dont do
  14. people remix art vs science alot?
  15. having a devo moment. as most of you guys are aware, ive been taking the piss out of digital djing for a long time but as of recent events i think i may be switching over to the dark side and joing the now future of djing but here's the thing, im planning on doing things a little different. i want that live feel about my mixing therefore i will be triggering basically everything i do. this will be a transition over a LARGE period of time so while i work out why im doing this, has anyone done a live set before using trigger pads such as NI's Maschine, Abelton's Launch Pad, Akai's MPC series or anything else? i will be doing something very similar to a Skrillex set but with my own spin on shit thanks and, i guess im sorry for mocking all you people for such a long time lol
  16. hey dudes and dudette this is a new drumstep tune i did with a fellow in London town. take a squizz and let me know Drumstep Colab (feat. Jaikai) by Spitfire
  17. yeah but if they were your tunes someone else was playing you'd want every dollar you could take, true?
  18. dont use bpm counters coz they're shit. use your ear and listen to the beat
  19. yeah they're slipmats lol
  20. oh, mr nitrous is playing. nice work
  21. heard this on friday i think it was... not a huge fan of these guys to be honest
  22. got these... just coz i could lol
  23. Im only after a few of the sounds but some of the string/ambient/soundscapes seem pretty decent - the ones I've heard anyway.
  24. You could probably open it with the Kore controller. If not I'm sure you could assign macros to whatever you use
