didnt know quite where to put this thing so thought id throw it up here. what i did was make a video for you all so you can see me doin live mashups n shit. i just got out the camera (at times forgot it was there lol) and just started mixing. i actually did this whole mix hence why the video starts funny and then cuts out at the end (hopefully i'll have the mix soon). thought this might be interesting so throwin it here. plus its my first live sorta youtube vid so watch it lol
im not up to date with all this facebook, msn lil chat logo crap so i need to know what some of this crap is lol i'll just make a list \O/ \m/ thanks peeps
yeah rep given for that. i'll give that a go and see what it's like. i've got a few other plugins i might play around with if i need to fatten it and see what i can get out of it
Ah could be anything dude! Might even be a factory present they sampled off an external synth for all I know lol Best bet would be to start off with a sound similar to what you're after then stuff around with expanders abs compressors n shit. There might be some free vst's or plugins around that fatten up your sounds but that's a natter of hunting around. What daw you using?
I don't believe in this rollercoaster shit unless you're playing for a few hours (3+). I tend to keep the same energy or build it up from the first few songs. You're there to keep people dancing so dance they shall
ive been djing for 6 years now. obviously too young to be playing out but recorded sets for radio n stuff (nothing too fancy lol). guna do one more mix (hopefully very soon) and then throw it all in for a while so i can focus on finishing off a few remixes and then working on my score
Similar to innocence, guilt, etc? I made something similar but I need something to fatten it up. I don't think that sound (if made in massive) comes out the way it sounds. I think they put it through some stuff. But if there's one out there I wouldn't mind giving it a shot either
I haven't listened to jungle in years! I got a few you can check out. UK Apachi, Shy FX, T-Power, DJ Hype... That's all I got from the top of my head. Look into Ganja Records too. Should be some jungle like dnb
From my understanding you can hire it but under liquor licensing laws they're just not allowed to serve alcohol. Back in the days I saw DJ hype at a club. Proper underage club night and all they did was open it during the day on a Friday around 4pm and closed about 10pm that night. This club didn't open often on Fridays so not sure what the deal was for starting so early
This. I started out at a similar time but coz I was still playing electro didn't get too deep into it. Some quality tunes out there that have just been covered up by this harder stuff
