You need RCA cables. It's real simple. On the back of tour mixer you should have send / receive (or return) ports. Line them up with the ports on the back of the kp and then on the mixer there should be something that has switch to external fx or an external fx switch / button. Should be sweet from there. If your mixer has an effects wet / dry filter, move that to about half way so you can hear the kp working. You can adjust that to your preference

Cdj's personally. Although these days I don't see any issue with using a controller in a club. Technology is rapidly changing now days so go with what you feel

it's pretty shit hey. im wondering how it was able to pick out the track though. in one of the messages, they advised me to re-edit the tune before trying to reupload it. i found that a little weird

the copyright page came up saying "this track MAY be copyrighted. if you wish to contest this claim click this link"... something like that. i also got an email from them saying the upload had been paused until further action was taken. found that a little weird. turns out my bootleg is in soundcloud purgatory :S you get the email too?

i just had a soundcloud moment i've just tried to upload a bootleg but it's been spotted!! i don't know how but it found it :/ sucks hella bad! now i gotta create a youtube video *sigh*

i'm on the hunt for high quality (.wav / .aiff) hip hop tracks so just wondering if anyone knows any online shops similar to beatport (with the option to choose mp3 quality or .wav) but with hip hop...?

Start using mixcloud. Obviously they're tightening up on copyright. Maybe chuck in a few samples over the top of the copyrighted tracks

My first gig was pretty average (second gig was AWESOME!! lol) I played at a club called Geisha and it was more like a charity event more then the usual club night but whatevs... I opened that night which sucked but we all gotta do it in our lifetime. I played fidget and didn't really worry about who was there or not lol the night was set up weird - I opened with fidget and the guy who played after me played prog and tech house. Didn't see how that worked but was an experience none the less. My second gig however, that's for another night

I reckon snoop dogg is alright now. He'll pave the way for the merge of hip hop and dubstep. I reckon it's only around the corner. They did it with guetta in the doof world (can't call it electro anymore lol) and now they'll do it with guys in the dub world
