  1. Yeah that's what I wad thinking. I got the kaoss pad too plus the filters and stuff on the mixers so i think I'll go with duo
  2. Ok seems like traktor is in sight so I gotta ask one question about it and it's probably more of a personal opinion but I'm keen to hear anything. Reason I'm going with traktor is because most of my software is from NI and I'm pretty happy with their support. Ok so down to the question / opinion, I know the major differences but scratch pro or duo? Obvious price is the key factor here but aside from that and the 4 decks in pro, is there anything different between the 2 which will make buying pro worth the money over duo? I'll be buying an x1 too but I'm assuming that works the exact same way as it would in pro Cheers y'all
  3. Complextro is basically a bunch if chopped samples thrown in random spots
  4. From what Steve has told me, this thing is going to be insane! I think the ladies will benefit from it a little more but with dj's Maxwell, Stevie M and mr forgone himself rocking away in yachts (amongst the food and booze) it's going to be an awesome event
  5. cheers bud. sorry for that
  6. 1. Kahn - Illy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L3mJYBGvFEE 2. Phaeleh feat. Soundmouse - Afterglow (Akira Kiteshi Remix) 3. At Dawn We Rage - Winner 4. Sezer Uysal feat. Sarah Jane - Chasing (Urban Assault Remix) 5. Gemini - Blue
  7. I wouldn't make it too complicated. Just 1 generic calling card for everyone. If you're in a club, you're going to get talking to these guys so they'll know your name anyways
  8. I've done the duo thing but it's basically Just mixing back to back (2 or 3 tracks each, whatever you agree on) I'd prefer to rock the house on my own but I'd play back to back again some time
  9. 1st release sold out!? Well done bud
  10. Pretty sure this album is done. Been at it for a while now and i think you can preorder this on iTunes. I think it's interesting. Not a huge fan of Korn but this is pretty interesting
  11. That will be a massive download
  12. I always update.
  13. The mainstream is made of underground elements. JB's tuned won't exactly be dubstep but elements of. You can't take a risk to invest thousands on underground music so I don't believe it will be the "end of dubstep"
  14. They would but you'll hardly know. If you knock on the table they sit on you'll hear the knock come through the speakers but yeah. Nothing to worry about. Clubs use cdj's because that's the way the industry has changed. Not a lot of tunes are pressed to vinyl anymore
  15. Well if you want to take things seriously then buying these things is the only way to go. You can get free programs like mixcraft and cool edit but they don't do much. Having a licensed copy gives you access to full support and updates. Some pirated copy's are missing a few plugins which help the system run properly so you'll experience crashes constantly.
  16. Yayuh!!
  17. It's so good. I love all that old school house stuff lol
  18. i found this track while i was digging through my hard drive and thought it sounded pretty cool so i remastered it. it's a mashup i did of Fedde Le Grand - Put Your Hands Up For Detroit and Denzel - Pump It Up back in 07. was one of my first proper productions lol it's up for download if ya feelin the vibes http://soundcloud.com/spitfiremusic/pump-it-up-for-detroit
  19. im gonna get my ticket as soon as i get get one of my friends to make their minds up another thing is that Pendulum are playing summadayze and if knife party are in the country then theres probably a chance summadayze will be Pendulum/Knife Party 2 separate shows. Pendulum will be pendulum and knife party will be just knife party
  20. I might go check it out. This will sell pretty quick I reckon.
  21. The fact she is getting into it makes everyone screwed
  22. There's ghost producers everywhere. Fairly common thing these days. Skrillex for example is actually Bare Noise and Deadmau5. That may have changed but the first 2 ep's were produced by them. I'm also pretty sure that tiesto is or was also in the same position. Havana Brown has clearly done the vocal parts but like every top 40 singer, they have producers coming up with songs for them.
  23. I say good luck to her. The DJ world is a massive cock fest anyways
  24. I add a desser (however it's spelt - or cut the higher frequencies right off) sometimes. Depending on how it sounds, it just helps reduce the harshness at the top
  25. Mine is fine. Same OS but I'm running the i7
