yeh man thats a fucking wicked price they are usually like $500-$600 for 1 im pretty sure + you get stands to sweeten the deal

for the price man ive heard 2000's arent that good, but yeh like 8/10 members on here have XD53's and we all love them...havent seen anyone say they dont like them so far

What is your budget again man? Can't remember... As a begginer we usually recomend CDJ400's, CDJ350's , or even CDJ200's if you really don't wanna spend much (200's are very very basic) but you seem like you want a full size platter (listed above ^ are all small platters) that price for those mark 2's is pretty good but it depends on the condition of them, it's usually the MK3's you get ripped off on also, check out the decks I just bought, CDJ850's, they are a heavy rival to the 1000's but are newer and better in my opinion

The transition isn't hard but depending on the controller they are often nothing like CDJ's

You will pay to much for 1000's as a begginner man, people just charge to much for them for an unknown reason

850's are a small step up from 1000's but are a masssssive step up from 800's in my opinion...i got mine cheap and it took me months of waiting so be prepared to wait
