Somehow i've been able to track my TSP shipment even though I selected free shipping. Anyway, here is the tracking info for my shipment. If you guys also bought it on the 28th October it should be similar: 30.10.10 13:00 The instruction data for this shipment have been provided by the sender to DHL electronically 02.11.10 18:05 The international shipment has been processed in the parcel center of origin 03.11.10 06:04 The international shipment has been processed in the export parcel center 08.11.10 12:34 The shipment is being transported to the destination country It looks like it was sitting in their international export parcel center for 5 days before they finally sent it on a plane to Australia. I guess you get the shipping service you pay for.

I just bought myself a crane stand from the US. Even with international shipping it ends up cheaper than buying local! And on top of that you get an added audio interface tray. http://www.thecranestand.com/special-deal/ I just can't bring myself to support local retailers when they charge more and offer less at the same time. Had StoreDJ or Lightsounds added an audio interface tray I would have been happy to pay $40 more to get it local.

damm. should really have put that option in.

I came a post in another forum and they were discussing whether DJ's should include the track list when distributing their mix. Those against posting track lists generally felt that they worked hard digging through crates to find unique tracks that help define their style, and didn't want to give away their "secrets". Those for posting track lists argue that DJ's should help promote their favourite artists's work so they can earn more money and can produce more tracks. It would be interesting to see the opinions of my fellow ADJF users

Fair point eggshell. I certainly agree their graphics chips are behind similarly priced laptops on the market. But video rendering power isn't a requirement for a dedicated DVS laptop. Is it worth sacrificing stability for higher specifications that are surplus to your requirements? A Windows laptop may give you more value for money. But are you getting what's valuable to you(DVS user)? Instead of getting a $1000 value for money Windows laptop, why not save for a little while longer and invest in stability. The entry level 13" 2.4 GHz core 2 4GB macbook pro for $1449 would run your favourite DVS no problem. Add an external HDD (for storage upgradability) to store your tunes and you're good to go.

If you want peace of mind that your laptop isn't going to crash mid-set then i'd suggest getting a macbook pro. Their build quality is top notch and they simply work (fast) without any fuss. I'm not a fan of other Apple's other products that are well overpriced like the iPhone, but with macbook pro you really do get what you pay for.

see that's what I thought since I selected free shipping. but they emailed me an electronic copy of the TSP invoice along with the shipment tracking number.

mine neither....if you ordered from the Native Instruments website then you can track your order at http://www.dhl.de/en.html.
-
Nice........I'm digging it so far

Although bank deposit was preferred, the payment method did state palpal was accepted. Better to get buyer protection and be safe...not sorry.

good find. someone should definitely jump on these before they get sold.

what are you trying to install? do you have screenshots?

I agree with Gandy in that this particular piece of hardware looks like a plastic toy but I think you have a point. If all-in-one midi controllers become mainstream in the near future, I guess you'll start to see "top of the line" models which are built to look sexy and professional.

Yeah I ordered mine thursday. I guess it did state shipping will take 4 working days.

I just received my invoice and shipping tracking number today in an email. Makes me think that they started shipping it today, but if you've received yours........ When did you get this email?

Not a good time to be selling mate. You have to compete with brand new Traktor Scratch Pro packs going for $400 locally.
-
that's only if you decide to upgrade so quickly. and at least they're not charging full price right now

Just bought Traktor Scratch Pro bundled with the Kontrol X1.
-
lol. Don't have a paypal account?

That's Pioneer's DJM 909. http://www.pioneer.co.uk/eur/products/4 ... index.html Its essentially a 2 channel scratch mixer with various FX accessible via the touchscreen.

Thinking about getting it bundled with Kontrol X1. It would be nice to control browsing, loops and FX with a piece of hardware. Although from my understanding you can only assign two decks per X1. Apparently international shipping is free from the Native Instruments shop. The only reason to wait for local retailers to follow is convenience with any warranty claims.
