Lurk6r
The audio 4 would be next to useless without also purchasing software... You can get tsp duo (including the sound card) for around 400ish.

Mitch
I bought 50 CDRs for $13 the other day, so we will use this figure. For $200= 15 packs of 50 CDs =750 CDs Say e.g. 8 tracks per cd =6000 songsI doubt youd have that many songs to carry to every gig.Not saying you shouldn't get traktor, Just proving a point
SolDios
Yeh, but then I had that error that I said before in general but no one seemed to answer it :C
andyman
If you sort your shit out into different CD wallets (ie: electro in one, pop in another, oldies, etc) it shouldn't be too hard to stay on top of your shit.
SolDios
Then I still have this problem though:you have your songs listed by artist A to Z for this exampleyou burn a cd with artist A and artist C, but then you find an artist B. Do you re burn the cd or...?people might say just only have A on one cd, but repeat the above method with AA AB and ACso whats your opinion? or should I just wait for another traktor scratch to pop up? Mitch
Just burn genre and month then. Then keep adding to end of folder so it's sorted from oldest to newest for each genre. Then go straight to back of folder for new tracks you have

SolDios
Sounds good, it would be good to eliminate the laptop from my setup too, then people can't think im just clicking around on it.Im going to burn cd's by genre, then by artist, but what if ive already burnt all of (insert artist's here's)'s electro songs and he makes another one, do you re burn the cd or just make another one, but if you do you have all his music spread over multiple cd's. eggssell
Sounds good, it would be good to eliminate the laptop from my setup too, then people can't think im just clicking around on it.if you are that paranoid when using a pooter. why not just do like diplo, craze and others. have lappy to one side of you not in front of you. therefore you just scroll, look for track, load.and then back to your decks. so you really only need to look sideways to load a track. and if you have your bins sorted out good enough, shouldnt take any longer than it would have to flick thru records in your crate, take em out the cover and lay them down.
