  1. That's a good price for those mk2's
  2. I haven't found anywhere that will even look at insuring me :/ Also I really don't see the point in getting a ppca licence, I HIGHLY doubt the artists get anything, record companys have enough money as it is. Not to mention there non-government, they can't enforce shit.
  3. Im selling the 800's with 400. Funny fact is this upgrade with all these new features is costing me $0
  4. x2 (Pending payment)
  5. That's a pretty sweet setup trans! Good tt's, bau5 mixer and a great dvs
  6. What if I go to the extent of actually calling the file (or it in the tracklist) Shooting Stars (Sleeper Mashup)
  7. Hey guys, so I heard this killer part of a mashup the other day: (Skip to 0:45) Just wondering if technically I could re-create it as a full track and give him credit for the idea? I only just intend to use it in party warmups and perhaps a mix tape down the line? Also what software would I need? Could I do it with audacity? Garage band seems quite flawed for this as the beat markers on the software itself never seem to match up with the track. Also it seems to only want to snap to it's own grid, making it next to impossible to grid together properly.
  8. Check your local cashies too!
  9. I have a chaser and coloured flood lights too so I could make a box for them and use that for the backlighting
  10. Damm straight! Anyone know what material those panels are though?
  11. Can someone please explain the hatred that is directed towards dennis please?
  12. In the long term that's what I plan to do. But back to the topic, is there a piece of software that renames files based on there id3 tags?
  13. Whilst looking for terrible dj advertisement, I found this. I'm just wondering what kind of pannels there using mostly? And what kind of light would you use to back light it? A color changing one would be cool. hehe, paint soldios on the panels so everything changes color around your name
  14. It's mainly so I can use it on everthing I put my hands on though. At home id use em with serato in hybrid mode
  15. It's also because im thinking of getting lloydc's gear. Funny thing is I get double the features and everything, and it won't cost me any extra if I sell my 800's setup.
  16. Is it just me, or do you guys enjoy looking for these terrible advertisements too?
  17. And the fact that he opens with bagging others rather than selling himself makes him sound like a little bitch.
  18. http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/onkapari ... 1007612874 I don't think he knows what a feather duster is from the pic.
  19. Good luck figuring out how to work the dammed thing :S

+ rep I have an ns6 too and I can guaranteeing you it's solid as hell, feels more solid than cdj's to be honnest. Everything from the tightness of the platters to the resistance on the faders is top notch. as djim said, there are crap quality controllers just as there are crap quality cdj's, but if you look around you will be able to find those vastly superior units. The fact that people claim that cdj's are better than software is abit hypocritical, seeing as you have to have software in some way for a device to function, for example you can't run a computer without a bios or an OS.

I love the things that can be achieved and done with the conjunction between software and hardware. E.g. Midi fighter.
  23. I want to be able to see the tag's on the denons (3700's) which Don't have rekordbox support :S
  24. So I kinda want to do something like this: But what would the key points be to doing it, cause I gota make it half visually entertaining. I suppose one point would be to do as many transitions as possible? Have about 1.5m of each track. Any suggestions? (Besides don't record it with my tv remote )
  25. I've got hold of a place where I can go and practice on 2000's for $10 an hour, so I'm preparing some usb's. (also trying some dennons while im there) Im wondering if there's a program that renames files based on id3 tags so i can have the key put in front of the file name. Should display kinda like this: 2a - Don't look back - Tommie sunshine
