  1. This Sorry didn't see that cupe, won't do it again.
  2. He must not have been that bright if he managed to do that, DONE
  3. I can assure you I don't commit the mortal sin of playing music from YouTube Sent by Tapatalk using Xperia Play
  4. If you put a mazda 121 engine in a Ferrari, it's still a mazda 121 You can't just pull quality out of nowhere. Trust me, if you cant it's better to just chuck em, then grab the 320's from "Somewhere else" wink wink nudge nudge, there are huge packs of em from every genere
  5. end them
  6. Yeh, Dam Im going to have to sell my roadcase now An DJM 800 would be amazing, and they might be a lil cheaper now the 850's out Im going to need to get a new roadcase now So looks like just 1 new sub and a second hand djm 800 by the looks of it
  7. you're, a 4 channel mixer would be nice though. actually, all im really looking for is a djm 250 the size of the filters in traktor are way to big Filters are a HUGE thing for me another reason was the 6% pitch range, but I guess I can live without it.
  8. Hmm I guess, I supose it is alot of money just to streamline, then I could get the subs no hassles. The thing is, I don't want to be forced to bring time code to every club I go to (Some might not let me either), so I though usb functionality would be great, and I REALLY don't want to burn 10000x cd's.
  9. http://www.djwarehouse.com.au/ys-pionee ... -pack.html Two cdj 900's and a 850 mixer, with roadcase and gift card (Will spend on a nice laptop stand) This will allow me to streamline my setup, and leave my audio 6 in my bag for when I go to clubs. It will also allow me to be indy of my laptop if needed. I think it will be a good decision to get everything new, as this will be my setup for years to come. I will also be grabbing two of these, and retiring my 12" PA speakers (if im still doing private partys) 18" powered subs 1400w peak (Can't find RMS rating) Total cost: Sub's $650 cdj pack $ 3895 -selling old cdj's, mixer, roadcase -$1350 $3845 I have $1000 put aside from dj'ing currently, my aim is to do this when I am regularly playing in clubs (Could be a while) Thoughts?
  10. For close mate's I just do a $100 for the night deal works well.
  11. Foe didn't you have an djm 800 you wanted to get rid of?
  12. Im pretty sure mp3 320 is around 75% of the original quality, don't quote me out on that though.
  13. Im sorry but if your using the ERGO in front of HUGE crowds when there is cdj's available you are clearly a heretic and must be purged from this world. the mc3000 is better in every way IMO better layout metal chassis DEDICATED FADERS (I have been on about this before) Size is no factor with controllers, there all next to tiny, and as a touring dj it would be a million times more (Portable) to bring a usb. (Literally) Check out dada life, there touring dj's, and look how much of the stuff in there bag is actually dj stuff
  14. ^ Exactly, and wav is 97% of the original file quality, so there is going to be next to no difference. Not to mention the vinyl is made from that file anyway (Probably not wave, but my point remains)
  15. I think if you want to use timecode with the 900 mixer, you need to have the scratch cd's, cause all it is, is a inbuilt audio 8 pretty much. Id say install traktor, make sure your mixer/cdj's are running the latest firmware. Then look up (DJM "INSERT NAME HERE" traktor drivers) next open traktor preferences and select your sound card as the DJM. Should work from then on in
  16. il be looking for something cheap on "whatif" Gona camp around and see if I can get cheap jetstar/virgin flights up there too.
  17. My point still remains though
  18. To be a headliner for an event
  19. ^ This infuriates me, every medium has it's fault Vinyl skips cd's stutter laptops crash Fact o life
  20. Just to be clear, I ment there's alot more to learn other than beat-matching, Even if they sync, there still gona sound like shit, as most people don't even know about phrasing, or bars and whatnot.
  21. One thing though, I seriously don't see it as that big of a deal being able to beat match is shit all when it comes to making a good mix, there's all kinds of things like EQ'ing, timing, keys, phrasing. Sync doesn't mean any man and his dog can get up and be a super star dj, it still takes alot of practice and skill
  22. I used the phrase meter in traktor to help me learn, now I can beatmatch without it fine. It's good if you use it in a way to help you learn, rather than to do the work for you. As for sync, tried it once, got really bored. Not doing it again.
  23. ^ You should keep a backup stick anyway, I don't see the problem with having 2.
