Good and bad last night the gig itself, fucking epic, they paid me to play an extra 2 hours later, and tipped me a $50 at the end of it. Everything else, fucking terrible on my way there on an S bend, rocks all over the road just as you get around the first bit, slid on them, almost hit a tree, dogged it like a sir but my trailer wheel somehow managed to get it's rim bent, breaking the seal and flattening the tire. Pulled over and quickly put on the spare, as I had to get to the gig. Little did I know that the spare had leak under pressure, arrived, (refer to first bit of the post), then got out to find my tire dead flat. Pump was missing from the car and the owners didn't have one. Petrol station 200m down the road so I decided to bite the bullet and go fill it up so I could get home. Arrived there to find the 24 hour station was shut for maintenance, with the next one 5k's down the road. got 4km's down the road driving slowly before it shredded, and had to change back to my original dead one. Got to the gas station to try fill it up, but a full on crack had appeared. Nothing I could do, phone flat, two tires dead, parent's out of town, so I pulled up behind the station and locked my car and such. I was going to go to a friends house (I pretty much spend 30% of my time there.) 1k down the road and come back to get it in the morning. But I didn't want to leave my stuff sitting them, or bother them at 4am. So I pulled some cheap ass blanket that was like 0.5cm thick out the back and went to sleep (Couldn't even put my seat back cause car is so full). Got up in the morning and walked to my friends house. As soon as I walked in they practically threw a robe at me, made me a coffee, and cooked me bacon O___O Then they lectured me and told me not to worry if it's 4am just come if I need help, and to maintain my trailer better. Anyway, we took there car down to mine, and put there spare on my trailer (It turned out to take commodore wheels). Drove it back to there house, in which my friends father pretty much immediately said "Let's go to you pull it", And so we did. Found two awesome new tires/rims with an ass-load of tread on them, great nick too, got them both for $60 Went back, changed the tires over, greased and lubricated everything. Then they asked me to stay for lunch and so I did. Nao im home, cleaning all my gear and slathering over how awesome the ns6 is. Quite an eventful weekend.

^ Can't really re map it unless you can actually use it as a controller. and in this case, it takes up the room where they could have had a full size pitch fader -
New Wireless DJ system from Pioneer - XDJ-Aero

Pretty much looks like a pretty good unit, accept for the sync button and the tiny pitch faders. It's essentially a combination between a ddj-t1 and cdj 350 If you ask me, this is perfect for the mobile dj, it allows you to have one compact unit without the laptop, and sort though thousands of songs fast for requests. Also wireless jammers can be brought for around $40, and I don't see any individual channel volume level displays, only a master. -
Dj with smartphones and tablets via wifi! It looks like one of the best things were going to get in regards to controller without a laptop. For the extra cash it's worth getting the mixtrack pro the bdc3000 isn't that great when it comes to build quality.

I've used one for a wedding It's "Alright" The main fact is that' it's so small, there are some really good mappings out there for it, but it's just way too small, and the knobs are put in really awkward positions. On the bright side, you can hook two turntables up to it, get serato vinyl, and use it as a timecode sound card and mixer with VDJ.

280 for a djm 800 whuuut 350 at the lowest O__O

Alright I've done few of these, so il drop my advice: Doing my very first gig taught me a few things: Yes, I always tend to drop something they know every 3 songs just to keep them interested, with something less well known after that, then a banga that they do or don't know. Yes, also to drinks, you don't want to be responsible for peoples shit if it get's lost. Yup, also try to keep them at a bit of a distance, some douse WILL come up and dangle a drink over your shit. For me it's they rock up an hour late, so not sure here. Nope, arguments, but never always a fight. In the 32 gig's I've done I have seen 4. ____________________________________________________________________ How old are they? this is a key factor. It depends on the size of the venue If your there for dinner and such, usually bout 5 till 12 Lights and things are highly recommended, but not too much, keep it tasteful!

For house parties you won't even need a sub, all you will need is this: https://www.storedj.com.au/products/BEH-PK-B812NEO Mate has and they rock. You only really need the sub if you are doing large halls. Seriously, all you will need is 12's. You could even get away with a pair of these: https://www.storedj.com.au/products/BEH-B215D 15's and 12's pump out a fair bit of low end.

I wouldn't look down on any bad transitions when your rapidly switching between the feel of a 350 and a 200. Still, good work mang!

Yo yo yo sup home dizzle Welcome -
Do you have another computer? Take out the HD, (Tutorials on youtube, take the screw out on an angle) if 13' pro nek get a $10 2.5 hard drive enclosure from msy or somewhere else. then put the enclosure board onto the hd, and plug into the other comp now install mac drive on that comp (If pc) http://www.mediafour.com/products/macdrive now backup everything you need put hd back in Run an OSX lion, snow leopard, or the cd's you got with the thing, holding alt when you boot so you can select an option (Note, if there is nothing you want to recover skip to the last step, I think re installing the OS preserves your files but just to be on the safe side) (Note this was written while dead on the train to work, there may be some inconsistencies and such, il fix it when I'm awake)
