last gig i did some whale punched me fair in the mouth (bleeding gums and all) because his gf was requesting a track. I could not hear her so she was leaning over the decks to me. prob look like something dodge. anyway her bf hit me in the gob. hit him back. got resolved by him getting a 1 year ban and I partied all night.

So im going to invest in a mic for the new turn my production has taken. I have NO idea about mics when it comes to anything. Brands, how much money is req for a decent mic, pros & cons of everything between etc. my plan is to ultimately to plug it into my M-Audio Fast Track Ultra and then record directly into FL Studios 10. (or similar DAW's I have) i dont know where USB mic's stand with having a good soundcard either so. ye.. budget is currently $150 (with no knowledge of what is decent or way under budget) any help would be great, looking to buy the best and cheapest i can in the next 2 weeks. as always, thanks in advance.

you dont have to add them to the hardware mate. TRAKTOR is compatible with the DDJ-T1 so, judging off this http://createdigitalmusic.com/files/2011/01/ddjs1.jpg you have have an ON/OFF button on the left and right of your controller. just above the TAP button. press it and make sure the button glows orange. on the deck you desire. A or B. maybe make sure your Level/Depth is at least 50%. Turn the Effect Select knob left or right to go between effects.

if its pads & keys i think my last suggestion was good. The M-Audio Axiom 49 MKII, but it was $379. for $249 the Novation Launchkey looks good The Roland A-300PRO looks good. Solid brand. you could always splice and add pads like a KORG NanoPad2 for extra $50. + or visa versa like, get a Novation Launchpad for $150 & a Alesis QX49 for the same $. great pads and keys combined. There is some really quality shit out there for about the $430 mark. just saying...

well, the M-Audio Axiom 49 MKII is $79 over budget. but has great reviews and M-Audio is a solid brand. on ebay atm its got free P&H. i imagine you could find one cheaper.
