i heard that he sometimes just uses the mixer... and has the laptop going through it, i mean the decks could be just what they provided, there have been times when i have had decks in front of me but no timecode/cd's... so i was focred to just use my midi board i will watch this for sure, i love david guetta, i think his sounds are good

hey guys, i recently discovered that twitter is actually a good way to spread your music! and something like 95% of twitter uses have a facebook! so here is some tips and reason to explain why you should be on twitter the main reason you should be on twitter is mainly to keep up with the socialites, you need to be able to cover every aspect of your audience, think of it as covering all your bases as far as internet news and socalising goes, but be careful it can also hold you back if not used properly. connect with your fellow artists or DJ's this is usually overlooked by alot of people, you concetrate too much on your fans and it just looks like all your trying to do is drum up money or fame, you have to give people something to follow other than just your music, some fan's LOVE to see whats going on behind the scenes, its why they follow there favourite singer or actress, because they want to see whats going on behind the scenes as well listen to the newest hits or remixes. DEMO YOUR SHIT! now this is obvious but there is still some skill to it, only put something on there you are positive is going to hit your audience your going for, if your a DJ, you have to appeal to the "BROADER" audience, so don't go putting up your underground dubstep mix when the average 21 year old won't know what the hell that type of music your playing, also always make your links plain and easy to read and most of all MAKE THEM RELEVANT, this goes for ANYTHING you put out, googles most important thing it looks for in the weblink so for example if you have a mashup that is Alexandra Stan Vs. Chris Brown - Yeah Mr Saxobeat x3 a weblink of http://soundcloud.com/dj-capsss/alexand ... hris-brown will work very well, it will index on those artists, if you have an electro mix, then try to put electro in the weblink, its hard to explain why but trust me, your mixes will start coming up in google soon enough Be entertaining!don't be boring, no one cares that you are taking a shit or eating a violet crumble while sitting at your computer desk. keep it relevant to the reason people will want to follow you, and try to be frequent, hell put radom facts about the genre if you want and post upcoming songs your looking at mixing or remixing there is a reason its called FOLLOWING someone, you dont bother if they don't have much to say. Don't take advantage of your fans no i don't mean this litereally (cupe i know what your thinking) but seriously, when this all comes back to the following situation, take it literally as someone is following you, they can jump off course as easily as they followed, its one click that pops up everytime they visit you, try not to put too many sales pitches out or try not to ask to much, its good enough they are following you because it shows event orginisers or club owners that you can pull a crowed (even if it is an online one ) so be good to your fan's and they will spread your love and create a following with the masses! link up and don't forget to tweet! so if your serious about DJing, you should have a youtube channel, a soundcloud, a facebook, myspace, something! link these all together! its so easy, you can tweet your feeds, you can tweet your new soundcloud uploads, your blogs, you can news feed your tweets! EVERYTHING is linkable, this makes it easier for your followers to find your new stuff, these kids want it all now and without having to look for it so make sure your always on top of your tweets and link it all together! so get on http://www.twitter.com and make sure you follow me! i promise i will follow you back
