You can use the roll on the pio mixers if you're clever. Otherwise I'm thinking an external fx unit would be what you're after. Which raises the question as to whether your current mixer supports an external fx unit nicely?? What's the exact model of your mixer?

With the 700 there is a 'bug' where you can loop out a roll then flick that loop over to an empty chan, and layer it back over the original. Will have to youtube a demo of it for you when I get my shit set back up.

You need hosting to have email. Can either go with a cheap hosting with net virtue, or office 365 offers better email hosting (exchange activesync etc) but it may be a tad more exxy

The A&H Xone 92 is a beast mixer, very popular. See a lot of the techno heavyweights using them. Considering upgrading to one at some stage

The SD card slot on the 1000's can only be used to store cue points on. The only options for playing music on the 1000s are CDs, or use of a DVS such as traktor/serato (requires appropriate soundcard, laptop, and software).
