  8. Leave a message saying if you don't hear back within 24 hours you will assume the booking is not going ahead. Then don't worry about it.
  9. How did neither cupe or me get nominated. We are the centre of the ADJF chat universe.

  11. XPS range is good, but pushing out your budget and only getting a 128GB hdd on that http://www.dell.com/au/p/xps-13-9333/pd ... ps-13-9333 Lenovo Thinkpad T440 may be more in budget http://shopap.lenovo.com/au/en/laptops/ ... ries/t440/ I'd pick the base model on the left (no touchscreen), then bump the RAM up to 8GB then depending on budget, i'd do some the following: -bump the processor up as far as you can -screen to HD -HDD up to 1TB -OS to windows 7 pro (if you prefer it over win8.. personal preference). -Warranty to 3 years onsite warranty (extra 300 bucks, but someone comes out to your house/work next business day and fixes something if it breaks). Warranty is a bit iffy, but I'd personally always go with it for peace of mind as I see plenty of stuff break working in the industry Really just depends on where you wish to invest your money.
  12. Likely due to the server time falling out of sync with whatever the time was on beatport servers. Usually would sync back up with an NTP server every few hours. Good to hear it's working
  13. This is due to your 3.5mm input being a 'mic' in and not a 'line' in. A mic input has the pre-gain set a lot higher as it's designed for having a mic in it. A line level input is designed for a line level input (funnily enough) such as an ipod, mixer, etc.. It may be switchable in your audio drivers (sometimes but not always), otherwise an external card is the only way to go
  14. Ill link you up with some models when I'm on computer. (I generally recommend dell as the warranty / post sale support is better than any other vendor, and it's what I sell at work)

  19. There are no rules. However, generally genres such as hip-hop have shorter mixes and utilise cuts/scratching, where house music and similar styles people typically do longer mixes.
  20. PS I moved this into the electro section, but left a shadow link in HQ
