If she was using track 2 to shuffle she wouldn't be hodling her headphones so intently against her ear... and before you say it if she was previewing the track she'd have to lift the need from track 2 the track 1, which you couldn't do when you can hardly the reach the side of the turntable that opposite the tone arm. once again... cueing your record... use your ears, not your eyes. nothing to applaud her for having to look at the waveform to find a cue point. of course i suppose.... she may just be some daft burd trying to look cool (and failing) for a photo opportunity!!!

very true.... I should have ellaborated on that point as I myself use TSP along with vinyl. I dont however stare at the screen as I learned without the aid/crutch of it.

rather than using her ears to cue the track she'd rathe stretch waaay over there so she can keep her eyes on the screen.... ps: some amount of gear shes got for a gig in a clothes shop.

first thing I thought when I watched it was it looks more suited to a live performance than a tractor DJ set.

I seriously doubt the names they have down are gonna be using them in a DJ'n capacity like there marketing would lead you to believe. These people might be endorsing them but that doesn't make them any good for DJ purposes.
