That's fair enough, i still need MIK for mashups and crap anyway. I just download the track sort it into the relevant genre folder then run my whole music folder thorugh mik once a week or so.

Yeah that's a decent work around, preferred it when the keyfield worked automatically but oh well. Any stats on how good Rekordbox's key analysis is?

It also killed the key field from MIK on some tracks, might have to rewrite my whole library to the comments again

Its a cleaner way of doing dropping short samples/vocals etc. By using the hot cue then the normal cue to stop the music, you firstly dont have to hold down the cue button and if you pressed the hot cue again it would restart from that cue obviously. So from my understanding its to cleanly stop a little sample. I do this a fair but when i load my cue points up on rekordbox

Will do it tonight, i had noticed it being better stability wise, a little quicker with exporting/analysing, i seem to get more information issues now though ike missing keys and stuff.

There is a smaller (cheaper) traktor mixer from pioneer might be worth checking out if you dont need 4 channels. I personally dont like Dennon but each to their own.

No Pro DJ Link on the 850s sadly. As Mitch said i think the usb control mode will work on some software (no idea which). Your best bet would be to stick with the USB's and just organise your drives well to maximise navigation, i can use rekordbox and different types of HID mode with my 900s i have at home but adding the computer was just alot of unnecessary setup and gear to travel with for me. Of course if you aren't playing out at different clubs it may be a different story for you, eg mobile where you need lots of genres and alot more music you may find usb impractical.
