Generally online tickets can be changed up to 24 hours before the event. Hardcopy is just cheaper and alot of people prefer the proper looking physical ticket plus its easy to just swing by a mate selling and pick them up. Plus there are benefits for sellers/partners like the more my company sells we can host stages, get artists for after parties at out clubs plus local djs can play at the festival.
