  1. My main thing has always been that when im on the pc im doing my own music related stuff, bootlegs, tune hunting etc.
  2. These days there is usually always an international on anyway, thats when you discover new music!
  3. Yeah instrumental for ruining edm
  4. Lol you get fucked up and watch whatever, surely there will be plenty of acts you can watch.
  5. Wow an insult to edm
  6. Well that's the aim of royalties is it not?
  7. If this is all you needed, I'd be a headlining act by now, sad to say its all who you know Are you a good dj now? i kid i kid!
  8. They created electro, they were also the big players to bring sampling of non dance genres to dance music.
  9. Are 850's any quicker at loading cds? Because the 900s are very slow with cd.
  10. Nina is very annoying, i think way too many people, myself included are too quick to see alot of things as a negative. Yes the culture is changing, the technology is changing, the music is changing but the parties keep going and the good times roll on.
  11. It varies wildly man. My company Music People, run clubs around Sydney and put on bigger events, as such we have a partnership with future entertainment and all our djs, promoters etc have to sell future music tickets so that we are able to host stages at the festival, get big artists for official after parties and even our djs get sets at future because of this partnership. Tickets for actual events you are playing at, often you will be booked and asked if you can help sell some tickets. So long as there is no quota i don't have a problem with this, because until you have a big enough name to draw a crowd you should be bringing friends to support you to gigs. There are arsehole promoters out there who will make potential djs sell a certain amount of tickets to get a gig, it's then no coincidence these events have shit djs, as they book them on ability to sell not dj. I stand by my comment on facebook tonight, Promoters bring people to the club, djs keep them there.
  12. Good to hear man! Nothing better than watching a mate come up like he is. I chucked 10 on the mixtape, well worth it!

    TOTD?

    Haha thats sick!
  14. As much as nobody likes paying more money, i think it's a great idea there is clear definition to this legislation and is certainly a good thing artists are being compensated.
  15. Oh yes oh yes, what a lineup!
  16. Yeah man he's getting his name out there which is good. A thing i liked that it's not the whole 'brah, lad' stuff you hear too much from locals.
  17. Tell me this is real. Sadly not lol But, i'm sure there is an asian producer somewhere who has one!
  18. Hey guys whilst not overly into hip hop myself, i thought i would show you all one of my school mates latest mixtapes. He a local guy but pretty impressed with his skill tbh, has been writing his whole life and some of his tracks have a sick old school vibe Check it out yall! http://thesonofsam.bandcamp.com/album/s ... he-mixtape
  19. Moving rooms at the moment, ill set my stuff up next week and try and give you a hand dude!
  20. If you have the money go 2000s lol so much better than either. I think the overall build quality of both the 850 and 900 are lower than 800/1000s. Oh one thing that annoyed with the 850 was how loose its scrolling knob is, i play on usb so i need to get through lots of playlists, i also found the 850 to lag whilst searching through larger playlists, so ad those together and getting a song quickly can be a pain. Pitch faders are the same quite crap actually, 2000 is much nicer. But i found the jog alot lighter than the 900.
  21. I personally didnt like the overall feel of the 850s either, i tossed up between these two models for ages but the tighter jog and scroll knob with a much better screen sold it for me. Are the usb functionality the same between the units?
  22. Link, ability to use pro dj link in rekordbox, screen is alot better
  23. and Legunner doesn't even use those! He uses a playstation 1 controller with a usb modification!
